CONSCIOUS REMINDER: “Horoscope For Every Star Sign For August 2018”

Ascension Avatar note: The 13-sign zodiac should be the astrology standard (it was no shock to learn in 2014 I’m a Pisces, not an Aries)! Check your natal sign in the 13-sign chart! 🐬

It is already the eighth month of the year, and yeah, it cannot be denied that it almost feels crazy. The year has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride, be it politics, society, arts of the stars, for that matter.

The month of July alone saw an insane amount of astral movement, starting from a complete lunar eclipse, a Chiron Retrograde and so on. Mercury is in retrograde already and will remain the same for the major part of August as well. Without further delay, let us get to the horoscopes.

Aries:

It will be a good time for change of any kind. Aries generally feel effects of solar eclipses more than the other signs and the one lined up for August will definitely have an effect, although subtle and positive. It will help you make changes in your life that you have been wanting for a long time. It is a month laden with good outcomes, so make the most of it.

Taurus:

Sugar coating anything never leads to any positive results so here is what it is: the month of August will not be cakewalk. You will face exhaustion of all kinds so make it a point to take care of yourself. You have to be the person to look after yourself. The month will not be all exhaustion and even if it is, you will have a ray of sunshine, which is people who love you coming through for you and making you feel special and energised. Let people take care of you as well because you do have friends and family who genuinely love and care for you.

Gemini:

It is going to be a good month. No major changes should happen but that does not mean that there is nothing you have to look forward to this month. You will have the opportunity to re-centre and find a goal that is both worthwhile and lucrative. You are going to be enjoying some good times.

Cancer:

2018 as a whole is the year of your career but August will be a test — a test of your tenacity. We all know that fortune favours the bold so do not be afraid of doing things that you have not done before because that will have an immense effect on your career hereafter. You may be pushed to your limits but you have to have faith and keep at it because nothing is impossible and especially nothing for you. You will reap good results if you put in the hard work and have perseverance.

Leo:

Leo, it is going to be an important month. August will bring to you the opportunity and time to get rid of everything that is holding you back or is not good for you. This is an extremely internalised process, which is why while you will be feeling the emotional brunt of it, others will see you living your best life. Adding to that, you might find yourself making significant changes in your career. As a whole, even though all of this sounds complicated, you will alright as none of it will be anything you cannot handle.

Virgo:

It is going to be good month with regard to money matters. You will find yourself in a good place to spend a little more than you would but while you’re doing that, make sure you find yourself some lucrative investments too. Do not forget to have fun, though.

Libra:

Get ready for some truth bombs because this month will set aside your real and your fake friends aside for once and for all. Now, this can be trying for a lot of us but it is what is good for us in the long run. Romantically, single or dating, just take things easy and have fun with whoever you are with. Love does not always have to be serious, so just have fun, laid back.

Scorpio:

There are two things that assume the center stage this month, self-care and drama. We can imagine how intrinsically these two things are linked at a very basic level.

Sagittarius:

There will be some issues with authority this month, but nothing that you cannot handle. All you need to do is just focus. You might want to go on a trip when conflict arises due to your inherent love and need for travelling but remember that you will need to approach problems head on in order to solve them.

Capricorn:

August will remind you that life does not last forever so it is the duty of every individual to enjoy life and not spend all of it working all the time. It is definitely admirable, how much you work, but you tend to forget other aspects of your life.

Aquarius:

Love is a wonderful thing but it needs to stand the test of time to last, which this month will present before you, if you are in a relationship. Professionally, it will be an excellent time for a change.

Pisces:

Find things that you love doing and things will fall into place as they must. Find time for yourself and do not be guilty about it.

AHTAYAA LEIGH: “Is Western Astrology Part of the Matrix?”

The Western Astrology matrix.jpg

What if western astrology is actually part of the matrix control system that works tirelessly to keep us out of alignment from who we really are?  Or at best, what if western astrology is all one great big misunderstanding that our collective pride just does not want to admit?

Western Astrology vs. Vedic Astrology

If you ask any astronomer where the constellations are located in the sky relative to Earth, the coordinates they give will match those given by vedic astrologers when calculating the position of the planets and stars.  Vedic astrology and astronomy both point to the actual position of constellations in the sky relative to Earth.  Western astrology does not.  Western astrology is out of alignment by almost 30 degrees.

In both western and vedic astrology, the zodiac consists of 12 constellations, or groups of stars, from Aries to Pisces.  Each zodiac sign covers 30 degrees of sky out of a total of 360 degrees.  The constellations slowly move backwards from our perspective because of a phenomenon called the procession of the equinoxes.  In the last 2,000 years the constellations in the sky have moved backwards almost 30 degrees, but western astrology has failed to account for this, resulting in an almost 30 degree discrepancy.

Around 2,000 years ago the position of the beginning of Aries happened to occur at the same time as the beginning of spring in the northern hemisphere.  But now if we look in the sky to see which constellation is on the horizon at the time of the Spring Equinox in the northern hemisphere, it’s actually Pisces.

Western astrologers try to convince us that this discrepancy has no bearing on our lives here on Earth.  After all, they have a lot of their identity tied up in western astrology’s validity.  It’s understandable that they would first defend it.  Some will argue that our cosmic influence ends with the sun, and that everything beyond our sun is irrelevant to our everyday lives. This is gross misinformation.

The sun is a transducer of energy.  It steps down energy received from the core of creation channeled through the vast star systems of the wider galaxy.  Our solar system is minuscule in comparison to the wholeness of the galaxy, and that’s not to mention the galaxies beyond the Milky Way, which are tiny in comparison to the entire universe.  Our physical sun is not independent, it is connected to all that is, and so are we.  So to say that the energy from the stars channeled through our sun has no influence on our lives here on Earth is an unfortunate misunderstanding that could be costing us dearly.

This misunderstanding is part of what keeps us trapped in illusion.  As human beings we are easily manipulated because we often accept information without doing our own research.  This is how misinformation and mind control has spread in epidemic proportions.  For those of us who are lightworkers on the path of ascension we must especially exercise common sense and logic.  We must question everything logically and listen for the truth in our hearts.

What does this mean for lightworkers?

From a lightworker perspective we know that we are working with energies from the wider universe.  We are aware that all the light we receive on Earth originates from the Creator, not our physical sun.  We know that.  We know we are multidimensional, galactic light beings helping to raise the level of consciousness on planet Earth.  Logically, if we are tuning into the energy of the stars we had better know which stars are influencing the planet at all times.  Many of us harness the moon’s phases to assist in personal and planetary healing.  We focus our attention on the energies that are being transmitted through the sun and the moon from the stars beyond because this is how we ground cosmic energies into the Earth plane.  We anchor them through our actions and intentions.

If the moon is actually receiving energy from Pisces but we focus our attention on Aries what happens to our efficiency as conduits for cosmic energy?

Let’s answer this by using the analogy of two water pipes that are badly fitted together.  Some water will pour through from one pipe to the other, but lots will go to waste.  This is what happens when we are out of alignment with true cosmic forces.  As noble and pure as our intentions might be, most of our potential is being wasted.  Most of the energy does not get grounded.

There will be resistance to this information, stemming from an unwillingness to detach from the identities we have formed based, for the most part, on our western sun signs.  Those who have their sun in Sagittarius in western astrology are suddenly having to get their heads around being a Scorpio!  It’s too much for some people to cope with, but as lightworkers cope with it we must.  We have a job to channel cosmic energies into the Earth plane.

There are beings who will try to hold us back with misinformation, perpetuating what may well have started out as a misunderstanding, but is now a serious issue.  Whether this misinformation was intentional doesn’t really matter.  What matters now is that we return the Earth to alignment with the true harmonics of the universe.

There is no doubt that lightworkers all around the world are doing amazing work on all levels of creation.  But we could be doing better.  Those of us following western astrology for light-working purposes are out of alignment with true cosmic forces.  We know that the sun does not just heat this planet, it transmits light codes from throughout the universe.  As conduits grounding the energies into the Earth plane, it is important that we properly connect to the circuit so that energy can flow freely and unencumbered from the stars, to the sun and through us into the Earth plane.

Let’s remove all distortions caused by the false matrix system and return to Truth!

Let’s focus on what is important, and that is doing our best for Mother Gaia and all sentient beings living upon her.  Let’s align with our full potential as conduits for galactic energies.  If we do this, we can raise the collective consciousness on Earth and dissolve the false systems that have kept us trapped in a fear based existence.  We must set aside our pride, take a step back and rectify the mistakes, misinformation and misunderstandings that plague the collective well-being.  We must return to alignment with all that is.

Let’s look at the facts in a logical manner and be prepared to change.  This is important for us all.

ZODIAC FIRE: “The Perfect Soulmate For Each Zodiac Sign…”

This type of astrological ‘soulmate’ article usually makes my eyes roll… but what the heck… 😉

AstroLove

Have you ever wondered what astrology can teach you about your ideal soulmate?

By closely analyzing your zodiac sign you can get a much better idea of who you’ll be most compatible with in the love department.

So without further ado, here are the traits and characteristics that each of the signs should be looking for when seeking out their soulmate!

Aries soulmate: a confident go-getter who can keep up with them.

The Aries is an aggressively enterprising personality who likes to live life in the fast lane.  They don’t have time to be dragged down and need a partner that can keep up.  Their ideal soulmate is somebody who is confident, assertive and not afraid to take bold risks.

Potential soulmates: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini and Aquarius.

Taurus soulmate: a loyal and romantic type who only has eyes for them.

For the right person the Taurus will stay loyal ’til the very end.  But they need someone who can return the favor and reciprocate their strong sense of commitment.  Their ideal soulmate is somebody who is trustworthy, straight-forward and who doesn’t play mind games because frankly, Taurus ain’t got time for that.  They also love romantic types who can make them feel like they are the only person in the world!

Potential soulmates: Cancer, Capricorn, Virgo and Pisces.

Gemini soulmate: somebody with a brain, a sense of humor and enough differences to keep things interesting.

The Gemini can be kind of picky about who they date so you should feel special if they choose you.  Their ideal soulmate is somebody who is funny, clever and interesting.  It helps if you also have just enough differences from the Gemini to ensure that things never get stale or boring!

Potential soulmates: Leo, Libra, Aries and Aquarius.

Cancer soulmate: an intelligent, affectionate and sensual soul with an empathetic heart.

The Cancer has a huge heart and a lot of love to give… but if you want to truly win them over then you need to be able to return the favor.  They need somebody who is intelligent enough to captivate their mind but also affectionate enough to make them feel special and loved.  They don’t have much time for selfishness so their ideal mate must also be caring and emphatic.

Potential soulmates: Scorpio, Taurus, Pisces and Virgo.

Leo soulmate: somebody who is confident, mysterious and able to keep them on their toes.

The Leo is hopelessly drawn to confident yet mysterious personalities.  They want somebody who is up for adventure and that’s not afraid to put themselves out there.  But also, someone intriguing enough to keep them guessing and looking forward to what comes next!

Potential soulmates: Gemini, Libra, Sagittarius and Aries.

Virgo soulmate: somebody sophisticated, complex, ambitious, and totally devoted.

The Virgos soulmate is somebody complex and sophisticated like a luxurious french wine.  But they should also be driven and ambitious and not someone who just lays around all day accomplishing absolutely nothing.  Most of all though, the Virgo needs somebody who will be as committed to the relationship as they are!

Potential soulmates: Scorpio, Capricorn, Cancer and Taurus.

Libra soulmate: someone with looks, brains and confidence to match!

The Libra has high standards when it comes to love and they wont just settle for any random person.  Their soulmate is likely to be a triple threat: someone with looks, brains and confidence.  They like physical beauty because they have a thing for aesthetics.  They’re into intelligence because they are clever and get bored by slow minds.  And they dig confidence because, well, they just like someone that knows what they want!

Potential soulmates: Gemini, Aquarius, Sagittarius and Leo.

Scorpio soulmate: someone who can challenge them and feed off of their passion and intensity.

When you’re with a Scorpio their love is deep, intense and totally unconditional.  But, they need someone who can challenge them and feed off of their fire.  Their ideal soulmate is somebody with depth and imagination, who thinks and feels deeply, but who doesn’t necessarily reveal all of their cards at once.  They love a bit of mystery and intrigue and are also hopelessly drawn to a sharp wit!

Potential soulmates: Pisces, Virgo, Capricorn and Cancer.

Sagittarius soulmate: an open-minded, free-spirited soul who doesn’t insist on trying to “change” them.

Sagittarians value their freedom and independence and don’t need anyone getting too possessive or clingy on them.  Their ideal soulmate is somebody with a fun-loving and open-minded approach to life.  They’re not big on having endless rules and routines nor do they need anyone trying to change or “fix” them as though they were some kind of pet project.  Their soulmate will be someone who can build them up and who they can take on the world with… not somebody who wants to clip their wings!

Potential soulmates: Leo, Aquarius, Aries and Libra.

Capricorn soulmate: a classy, stylish, intriguing soul that can engage their mind and remain loyal ’til the end.

The Capricorn is not afraid of being picky when it comes to lovers, especially when it comes to seeking out someone who is “soul mate” material.  Their ideal partner has a bit of class and style to them, and some pride in who they are.  They should also possess some intelligence and be able to engage with them in a deep and meaningful way.  But above all else, they should be trustworthy and loyal… the Capricorn needs someone that they can count on!

Potential soulmates: Pisces, Taurus, Virgo and Scorpio.

Aquarius soulmate: someone committed but fun-loving, with a wicked sense of humor and a talent for cooking!

The ideal soulmate for the Aquarius is likely to have a fun and outgoing personality and they’ve gotta be up for an occasional crazy adventure.  They’re also wildly attracted to those that have a wicked sense of humor and a sharp wit.  If you can make ’em laugh you can make ’em do just about anything.  Being able to cook is also a big plus because damn does the Aquarius love to eat!

Potential soulmates: Libra, Aries, Gemini and Sagittarius.

Pisces soulmate: somebody with confidence, a creative mind and an ability to get on their wavelength.

Pisces live in a world of their own and they never take life too seriously or literally.  Their ideal soulmate is somebody with a healthy dose of self-confidence, a wild and creative mind and an ability to think in a non-linear way.  Most of all they just need somebody they can connect and communicate with in a deep and meaningful way.

Potential soulmates: Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn and Taurus.

DAVID WOLFE: “Celtic Druid Astrology: What Does Your Tree Zodiac Sign Reveal About You?”

Druid Oak Man.jpg

You’ve probably heard about zodiac sign astrology, but have you ever heard of Celtic tree astrology?  This type of astrology was created by members of the high-ranking professional class in ancient Celtic cultures, known as Druids.

Celtic tree astrology was designed using the natural connection that Druids had to the Earth cycles, as well as the sacred knowledge held by the trees.

Here are the 13 tree signs as described by Celtic tree astrology:

1.  Birch — The Achiever (December 24 – January 20)

These few weeks mark a time of darkness with little sunlight.  The Druids believed that Birch babies were always stretching themselves thin, trying to find the light.  Birch babies are said to be highly driven, motivational and ambitious.  They’re often resilient, natural-born leaders with the ability to win others over due to their charm.

2.  Rowan — The Thinker (January 21 – February 17)

Rowans are known for their philosophical, visionary minds.  They are creative and original with a unique inner passion and deep motivation.  Rowans often have a cool exterior that can transform energy in tense situations.  Their unique nature allows them to be highly influential.  These out-of-the-box thinkers dislike restriction and conformity.

3.  Ash — The Enchanter (February 18 – March 17)

According to Celtic tree astrology, Ash are enchanting, imaginative, artistic free-thinkers.  They see the world in vivid color.  Ash can be moody at times, but they are inspired by nature.  They enjoy art, writing, science and spirituality.  Some view Ash as reclusive and introverted, but they simply love the world they created for themselves.  They are both idealistic and realistic.

4.  Alder — The Trailblazer (March 18 – April 14)

Alders are known to blaze their own trails with passion, often gaining followers and supporters along the way.  They are charming and easy to talk to, confident, focused and self-assured.  They have no tolerance for nonsense and they don’t like to waste time.  Their brave, competitive nature often makes them great parents, leaders and entrepreneurs.

5.  Willow — The Observer (April 15 – May 12)

Celtic astrology sees Willows as very connected to the moon.  They are highly creative, intelligent, intuitive and realistic.  Willows have a great understanding the cycles and seasons, which allows some of them to have psychic abilities.  They love to learn and they constantly seek new knowledge, which makes them great teachers.  Their fears will hold them back if they let them.

6.  Hawthorn — The Illusionist (May 13 – June 9)

Hawthorns tend to be very different on the inside than the outside.  They can be difficult to read, but they are typically very passionate, creative and curious.  Hawthorns don’t judge, which makes them great listeners and insightful friends.  They are able to see the big picture.  Hawthorns are often great performers due to their illusionist persona.

7.  Oak — The Stabilizer (June 10 – July 7)

Oak signs are known to be strong, protective, generous and nurturing.  They are highly optimistic and they believe that everything has its way of working out.  Oaks enjoy learning about history and ancestry, which makes them great teachers.  They also crave structure.  Oaks love having large families and they enjoy being involved in their communities.

8.  Holly — The Ruler (July 8 – August 4)

The Druids saw Holly signs as noble, natural leaders.  They were people of power who welcomed a good challenge.  Holly signs are able to tackle any obstacles that get in their way.  They’re competitive, ambitious, confident and dedicated to achieving their goals.  Holly signs are often perfectionists.  They are natural leaders, but they also don’t mind being in a supportive role.

9.  Hazel — The Knower (August 5 – September 1)

In Celtic astrology, Hazels are intelligent, organized, efficient and academic.  They have excellent memories, which allows them to excel at reciting and recalling information.  Hazels might appear to be know-it-all’s, but they truly like to be well-informed.  They can be extremely detail-oriented, sometimes to an obsessive or compulsive degree.  Hazels enjoy doing anything that involves numbers, science and analytics, which makes them great planners and organizers.

10.  Vine — The Equalizer (September 2 – September 29)

The Druids believed that Vines had fluid and changeable personalities, just like the seasons.  They can be unpredictable and indecisive, which allows them to see both sides of a story.  They are often seen as very empathetic because they don’t like to pick sides.  Vines are a bit moody at times, but they can also be charming and elegant with a taste for the finer things, such as food, wine, music and art.

11.  Ivy — The Survivor (September 30 – October 27)

Ivy signs are compassionate, loyal and giving.  They are often soft-spoken, spiritual and charismatic.  They are born at a time of the “waning sun,” which led the Druids to believe that life may seem more difficult to them at times.  But Ivy signs are graceful in their ability overcome obstacles.  They have a steady stream of energy that allows them to hold their own.

12.  Reed — The Inquisitor (October 28 – November 24)

According to Celtic astrology, Reeds are great at keeping secrets.  They also love to uncover the truth.  Reeds dig deep to find the heart of the matter.  They love a good story, causing them to be drawn to gossip, scandals, legends and conspiracies.  This trait makes Reeds excellent journalists and detectives.  Reeds love people, because they represent mysteries to uncover.  They have a strong sense of truth and honor, and they can be jealous at times.

13.  Elder — The Seeker (November 25 – December 23)

Elders are free spirits and thrill-seekers, possibly because they are born at a time when the light is fleeting.  Elders may seem extroverted, but they can be withdrawn, thoughtful and philosophical.  They can also be very helpful, honest and outspoken.  Elders have a tendency to assume they’re always right, due to their intellectual nature.

AVIA VENEFICA: “Native American Animal Symbols Of The Zodiac”

native-american-zodiac-signs-2

Native American Animal Signs Otter

OTTER:  Jan 20 — Feb 18

A little quirky, and unorthodox, the Otter is a hard one to figure sometimes.  Perceived as unconventional, the Otter methods aren’t the first ones chosen to get the job done.  This is a big mistake on the part of others — because although unconventional, the Otter’s methods are usually quite effective.  Yes, the Otter has unusual way of looking at things, but he/she is equipped with a brilliant imagination and intelligence, allowing him/her an edge over every one else.  Often very perceptive and intuitive, the Otter makes a very good friend, and can be very attentive.  In a nurturing environment the Otter is sensitive, sympathetic, courageous, and honest.  Left to his/her own devices, the Otter can be unscrupulous, lewd, rebellious, and isolated.

wolf

WOLF:  Feb 19 — Mar 20

Deeply emotional, and wholly passionate, the Wolf is the lover of the zodiac in both the physical and philosophical sense of the word.  The Wolf understands that all we need is love, and is fully capable of providing it.  Juxtaposed with his/her fierce independence — this Native American animal symbol is a bit of a contradiction in terms.  Needing his/her freedom, yet still being quite gentle and compassionate — we get the picture of the “lone wolf” with this sign.  In a nurturing environment the Wolf is intensely passionate, generous, deeply affectionate, and gentle.  Left to his/her own devices the Wolf can become impractical, recalcitrant, obsessive, and vindictive.

Native American Animal Symbol Falcon

FALCON:  Mar 21 — Apr 19

A natural born leader, the Falcon can always be looked upon for clear judgment in sticky situations.  Furthermore, the characteristics for this Native American animal symbol never wastes time, rather he/she strikes while the iron is hot, and takes action in what must be done.  Ever persistent, and always taking the initiative, the Falcon is a gem of a personality to have for projects or team sports.  The Falcon can be a little on the conceited side — but he/she is usually right in his/her opinions — so a little arrogance is understood.  In a supportive environmental the Falcon “soars” in his/her ability to maintain passion and fire in relationships, and always remaining compassionate.  Left to his/her own devices, the Falcon can be vain, rude, intolerant, impatient, and over-sensitive.

beaver

BEAVER:  Apr 20 — May 20

Take charge, adapt, overcome — this is the Beaver motto. Mostly business, the Beaver is gets the job at hand done with maximum efficiency and aplomb.  Strategic, and cunning the Beaver is a force to be reckoned with in matters of business and combat.  One might also think twice about engaging the Beaver in a match of wits — as his/her mental acuity is razor sharp.  The Beaver has everything going for him/her—however tendencies toward “my way or the highway” get them in trouble.  Yes, they are usually right, but the bearer of this Native American symbol may need to work on tact.  In a nurturing environment the Beaver can be compassionate, generous, helpful, and loyal.  Left to his/her own devices the Beaver can be nervous, cowardly, possessive, arrogant, and over-demanding.

Native American Animal Symbol Stag and Deer

DEER:  May 21 — Jun 20

This Native American animal symbol is the muse of the zodiac.  The Deer is inspiring lively and quick-witted.  With a tailor-made humor, the Deer has a tendency to get a laugh out of anyone.  Excellent ability for vocalizing, the Deer is a consummate conversationalist.  This combined with his/her natural intelligence make the Deer a must-have guest at dinner parties.  Always aware of his/her surroundings, and even more aware of his/her appearance, the Deer can be a bit self-involved.  However, the Deer’s narcissism is overlooked because of his/her congeniality and affability.  In a supportive environment the Deer’s natural liveliness and sparkly personality radiate even more.  He/she is an inspiring force in any nurturing relationship.  Left to his/her own devices the Deer can be selfish, moody, impatient, lazy, and two-faced.

Native American Animal Symbol Woodpecker

WOODPECKER:  Jun 21 — Jul 21

Woodpeckers are usually the most nurturing of all the Native American animal symbols.  The consummate listener, totally empathic and understanding, the Woodpecker is the one to have on your side when you need support.  Of course, they make wonderful parents, and equally wonderful friends and partners.  Another proverbial feather in the Woodpeckers cap is the tendency to be naturally frugal, resourceful, and organized.  In a nurturing environment the Woodpecker is of course caring, devoted, and very romantic.  Left to his/her own devices the Woodpecker can be possessive, angry, jealous, and spiteful.

Native American Animal Symbol Salmon

SALMON:  Jul 22 — Aug 21

Electric, focused, intuitive, and wholly creative, the Salmon is a real live-wire.  His/her energy is palpable.  A natural motivator, the Salmon’s confidence and enthusiasm is easily infectious.  Soon, everybody is on board with the Salmon — even if the idea seems too hair-brained to work.  Generous, intelligent, and intuitive, it’s no wonder why the Salmon has no shortage of friends.  This Native American animal symbol expresses a need for purpose and goals, and has no trouble finding volunteers for his/her personal crusades.  In a supportive environment, the Salmon is stable, calm, sensual, and giving.  Left to his/her own devices, those that bear this Native American animal symbol can be egotistical, vulgar, and intolerant of others.

Native American Animal Symbol Bear

Pragmatic, and methodical the Bear is the one to call when a steady hand is needed.  The Bear’s practicality and level-headedness makes him/her an excellent business partner.  Usually the voice of reason in most scenarios, the Bear is a good balance for Owls.  The Bear is also gifted with an enormous heart, and a penchant for generosity.  However, one might not know it as the Bear tends to be very modest, and a bit shy.  In a loving environment this Native American animal symbol showers love and generosity in return.  Further, the Bear has a capacity for patience and temperance, which makes him/her excellent teachers and mentors.  Left to his/her own devices the bear can be skeptical, sloth, small-minded and reclusive.

Native American Animal Symbol Raven

RAVEN:  Sep 22 — Oct 22

Highly enthusiastic, and a natural entrepreneur, the Crow is quite a charmer.  But he/she doesn’t have to work at being charming — it comes easily.  Everyone recognizes the Crow’s easy energy, and everyone turns to the Crow for his/her ideas and opinions.  This is because the Crow is both idealistic and diplomatic and is quite ingenious.  In nurturing environments this Native American animal symbol is easy-going, can be romantic, and soft-spoken.  Further, the crow can be quite patient, and intuitive in relationships.  Left to his/her own devices, the Crow can be demanding, inconsistent, vindictive, and abrasive.

Native American Animal Symbol Snake

Most shamans are born under this Native American animal symbol.  The Snake is a natural in all matters of spirit.  Easily attuned to the ethereal realm the Snake makes an excellent spiritual leader.  Also respected for his/her healing capacities, the Snake also excels in medical professions.  The Snake’s preoccupation with matters intangible often lead others to view them as mysterious, and sometimes frightening.  True, the Snake can be secretive, and a bit dark — he/she is also quite sensitive, and caring.  In a supportive relationship the cool Snake can be passionate, inspiring, humorous, and helpful.  Left to his/her own devices, the Snake can be despondent, violent, and prone to abnormal mood swings.

Native American Animal Symbol Owl

OWL:  Nov 23 — Dec 21

Changeable and mutable as the wind, the Owl is a tough one to pin down.  Warm, natural, with an easy-going nature, the Owl is friend to the world.  The bearer of this Native American animal symbol is notorious for engaging in life at full speed, and whole-hearted loves adventure.  This can be to his/her detriment as the Owl can be reckless, careless, and thoughtless.  Owls make great artists, teachers, and conservationists.  However, due to his/her adaptability and versatility — the Owl would likely excel in any occupation.  In a supportive, nurturing environment the Owl is sensitive, enthusiastic, and an attentive listener.  Left to his/her own devices, the Owl can be excessive, overindulgent, bitter, and belligerent.

Native American Animal Symbol Goose

GOOSE:  Dec 22 — Jan 19

If you want something done — give it to the Goose.  Persevering, dogged, and ambitious to a fault, the Goose sets goals for accomplishment, and always obtains them.  The goose is determined to succeed at all cost — not for the approval of other — but those with this Native American animal symbol competes with his/her own internal foe.  Driven is the watchword for the Goose’s dominating personality trait — which makes them excellent in business and competitive sports.  When tempered with supportive, nurturing family and friends, the Goose excels in all things he/she attempts.  In a loving environment the Goose can be very passionate, humorous, gregarious, and even sensual.  However, lead to his/her own devises, the Goose may fall into obsessive or addictive behaviors that will inevitably be his/her demise.
