MORAG: “Cosmic Discord, Global Chaos and Mental Wellbeing”

Cosmic Discord Global Chaos and Mental Wellbeing

Depression is clawing at the edges of many awakened and awakening people’s being. It can feel as if the inner stuffing, our internal soul wellbeing, is being knocked out of us. Cosmic discord and global chaos challenging our mental health.

The polarity is tearing us apart literally. Relationships, families, colleagues, there are fewer places to hide. Global and local politics is forcing everyone off the fence, declare our hand, this is our truth. No more hiding for the sake of convention. Social programming to not rock the boat battles with our internal radar, tuned up and beeping louder, screaming aversion to some people and places.

Blue pill people and red pill people moving further away from each other. What will the tipping point bring us? Will we have raised the vibes enough? Activated enough people, woken up from matrix avatar existence.

How do we stay afloat? Not fall off, crash into the depths of despair? How do we stay upright, pushing forward, however slowly. We release our armour, our karmic camouflage, to lighten our vibration. Cosmic propulsion tosses us around like dolls in a storm. Planetary politics cuts deep into our being, triggering fear, fury and frustration.

On the homefront we see people without their masks, we see truth in their eyes, in their actions and words. We are triggered every day by the matrix. It comes at us through people, marketing, religion, culture and education. Up we get every day, to work, care for others, earn a crust, keep our heads above water, trapped in a system rigged against us. How do we free ourselves? How do we light the way?

By being human. By being flawed. By making mistakes and apologising. Writing our wrongs. Accepting imperfection. Being authentic can mean being authentically angry, sad, fed up. Choosing gratitude, heart led living, doesn’t just happen. Every day we are challenged. We all make mistakes. We all get it wrong sometimes.

We are not plastic perfect people. We are raw, beautiful, sensitive beings with a spectrum of emotion many other species, from far off galaxies, are in awe of. Shadows dance in our hearts second to second. We can feel multiple emotions in a moment. Our energy fields flickering, shimmering with continual fluctuations, a rainbow of movement and magic. We are deeeeep beings, people.

The matrix molds and makes us cardboard cutouts, synthetic fake people, but we’re not. We are complex, complicated, mercurial beings of light and dark and every shade in between. Finding balance, alignment in our core, in our energetic system, accepting who we are, warts and all. Knowing we are woven into the fabric of time and space, unique, rare, unpredictable and potentially magical.

I have no great revelations, no sort-it-all-out answers. Some days crawling out my own skin seems the only option. The smell of my children’s hair, a wink from my cats, writing to you guys, keeps me afloat. I wobble, I slip and slide round my surf board, sometimes holding on for dear life as waves of wild cosmic energy thrash around inside and out.

Mindfulness, nature, soul tribe nourishment all work. Meditation, generating energetic flow through movement can realign us. Mantras, intentions, rituals can help us draw a line under some emotions, focus us to manifest serenity, still calm waters, moonlight flickering as we rest and star gaze.

Yet they come again, the clash, the combat of crashing waves of recalibration colliding with matrix reality. Continuing to work on strengthening our mind body soul is an ongoing task. Release shame, stress and fear, matrix toxins used to drag us down. We are not perfect. We are human, humble and a little lost.

There is no magic wand but there is acceptance, accepting good days and bad days. Follow gut instincts, try and not let matrix algorithms cloud our judgement, with interference, static, manipulation or intimidation. Put energetic shields up from people we suspect are hacking into our systems.

Ask for protection and guidance from higher self and guides. The law of free will means they can’t interfere until we ask them. So ask them for help when you need it. Take that leap of faith, retrain your own algorithms to a new way of seeing and trusting the world. Of energy, frequency and vibrations, not concrete walls and blocks.

Everything is fluctuating, wavering, translucent and transient. We can affect, change and manage our lives. And on those days, hours, minutes, nights and weeks when we can’t connect to our warrior, when we feel lost and untethered, reach out to your people on the other side. They’re cheering for you. Relatives who have passed, soul mates and tribe who chose different paths. Our guides are here to support us through this tremendous quantum transition. They are all at the edges of the matrix board game, cheering us on “you’re amazing, you’re amazing.” They call to us, whispers in the wind of change. Embrace their love.

Open connection to higher self, who knows all our flaws, all our weaknesses and knows who we can become. Let them in to help us navigate, stay afloat and surf cosmic waves. Stand on the board, hold the balance in our core, fluid limbs taking the reverbations, allowing flow of energy, riding the fluctuating frequencies around us. We will be ok. Each and every one of us can do this. Reach out, trust resonance and seek healing. The universe will answer. In love & light beautiful people.

Mantra: I am one with universal love light energy. I draw this healing light into my heart chakra restoring balance, into my crown chakra restoring calm and into my feet grounding me back into Gaia.

I ask my guides and higher self to power up my shield of protection. Shield up.

Namaste.

ALEXA PELLEGRINI: “The Power of Water for Healing and Spiritual Growth”

ac30f6b80c7ef467c7228580008acc10

Our organs and our cells are comprised of water — in fact, up to 60% of our bodies is made from water alone!  Yet as a society, we continue to forget the healing benefits of water and consistently choose soft drinks, coffee, flavored water and energy drinks as water substitutes.  Water — and not Vitamin water or sparkling soda, but real, pure water is your best friend on your journey to repairing your mental and physical health and increasing your vitality.

Why Water is Vital to Your Overall Health

Imagine a dam in a river that’s been closed off.  Suddenly, the river’s flow begins to weaken, and everything that’s a part of the river’s ecosystem begins to fall apart.  Fish and small mammals can no longer absorb the nutrients they need from the water.  Waste from the river has nowhere to go, so its population dies off.  When the water disappears, so does the vitality of the environment.  The human body operates similarly: without water to usher nutrients and proteins throughout the body, the body’s organs begin to shut down.  Even the food we absorb can’t be properly digested without water to act as a lubricant.  Without water, our body also has no way to expel toxins or pollutants, which increases our chances of acquiring serious ailments from constipation to cancer.  The body’s ‘ecosystem’ perishes.

There’s one organ in your body that needs water the most: your brain!  The brain is 75% water.  Without proper water intake, the clarity of your thinking will decrease and you may be in a perpetual state of fatigue without knowing why.  The best way to preserve your brain health and boost its performance is not just to use it, but to nurture it and care for it.  Your brain never stops running, and it requires constant fuel.  So, before you reach for that cup of coffee in the morning, start your daily routine off on the right foot by showing some love to your gray matter and having an 8 ounce glass of water.

Water Not Only Nourishes Us – it Also Heals the Soul

Water has always been emphasized for its nutritional value, but its other healing benefits shouldn’t be overlooked.  Even observing the ocean or a flowing stream of water can soothe the troubled mind.  Perhaps one of the reasons we feel so comfortable in the water and listening to the sounds of rushing water is because it mimics the fetal state.  From conception, we develop while floating in the embryonic fluids of our mother’s womb.  Floating on the surface of a warm bath or pool can draw us into a state of total comfort and relaxation as we subconsciously return to feeling completely nurtured and protected, just like we did before birth.  When we surrender our need to be physically grounded and allow the water to hold us, we also lose our need for rigid self-control and total self-reliance.  One of the best ways to mentally unwind and relieve stress is to go for a swim, then float on your back and do some simple deep breathing.

Salt water is also a wonderful natural alternative to traditional anti-inflammatory agents.  Gargling with salt water helps strip away excess mucus and bacteria lingering at the back of the throat and in the tonsils to either prevent or treat a cold and a bad sore throat.  Bathing in warm salt water or swimming in the sea can help dry up acne, scab over minor open wounds and encourage the drainage of harmful toxins from the lymph nodes.

Listening to water during meditation and visualizing water are two excellent ways to help reduce stress after a long, difficult day.  The body, when held in a constant state of tension for long periods of time, has been proven to suffer — scientists have found a link between consistently high stress levels and an increased chance of getting heart disease, cancer, anxiety disorders and other serious conditions.  The following exercise will help you take advantage of the healing power of water to reduce your stress levels and stay well.

Step 1:  Begin by taking some deep breaths.  Continue to breathe until you quiet your thoughts and feel relaxed.

Step 2:  Start to envision any kind of water: an ocean, a stream, a brook, even the rain.  Construct this visual in your mind, then try to picture what the water sounds like.  Focus solely on the images and sounds running through your mind.  How does the sight and sound of the water make you feel?

Step 3:  Now, picture immersing yourself in the water.  Whether it’s allowing the rain to glide over your skin, or diving head-first into a beautiful, warm pool, visualize your anxiety, fear, anger and stress melting away as soon as the water touches your body.

Step 4:  Close the exercise with a few deep breaths, and exit the meditation feeling cleansed and revitalized.

TANAAZ (Forever Conscious): “5 Power Poses that Can Boost Your Mood”

power-pose

The way you carry yourself and your posture says a lot about your personality and your current mindset.

When you are in a bad mood or feeling insecure, it is common to hunch over and look down or at your feet. When you are in a bright and confident mood however, your shoulders are often pulled back and you can hold your head up high.

Your posture not only reflects how you are feeling but it can also influence how you are feeling. When you become aware of how you are holding your body in space, you can make a few tweaks and experience the boost of emotions that follows.

One of the most famous poses for boosting your mood is the power pose. By standing with your chest puffed out, your head held high and your hands on your hips- like superman, you can send a wave of feel good hormones all through your body.

In fact, your posture can actually effect cortisol levels in the brain, which can influence your stress levels and change the way that you feel about yourself.

When you stand in the power pose, for just a few minutes a day, it can help to activate your power center and to make you feel more confident.

On a spiritual level, standing up tall can actually help the flow of energy to move through you without any blockages or awkward curves to navigate through.

Power posing is a great technique that you can use before walking into a business meeting, audition or job interview. It is also a great technique you can do at anytime to gain more confidence and inner strength.

Here are 5 other power poses that you can use to boost your mood:

1.  Pose of Gratitude

We all know how powerful the emotion of gratitude can be. Stand tall with your arms stretched up to the ceiling in V-shape, almost like you are doing a big stretch. Look up to the sky and say thank you, thank you, thank you. Hold this position for 3-4 breaths.

2.  Pose of Love

To bring more loving energy into your life, stand straight with your hands over your heart in a prayer position. Take a deep breath and then open your arms wide out to the side as you exhale. As your arms are stretched out, open your chest out to the world. Make sure your shoulders are back and not rounded. Bring your hands back into prayer position and repeat this movement 3 times at a fairly quick pace.

3.  Pose of Receiving

To receive abundance or energy from the Universe, stand tall with your shoulders back and your feet hip distance apart. Stretch your arms out in front of you at shoulder height with your palms facing upwards. Almost like you are receiving a gift. Keep your chin up and breath deeply here for 4-5 breaths.

4.  Pose of Calm

To calm any anger or frustration, stand tall with your feet wide apart but with your knees relaxed. Place your hands in prayer position over your heart. Close your eyes and hold this position for 6 deep breaths.

5.  Pose of Joy

To feel waves of joy and happiness, stand tall with your feet a little wider than hip distance apart. Stretch your arms out to the side and put your thumbs up. Smile and stand in this pose for 4-5 breaths.

Try these poses and see if they make a difference to your mood and overall feelings. You can also practice hand positions or mudras as well. Here is some popular mudras you can try-

KIMBERLY SNYDER: “The Amazing Healing Benefits of Gratitude”

Healing Benefits of Gratitude

If you’re alive and reading this, you have something to be grateful for.  That’s great news!  This post will give you support in practicing gratitude on a regular basis, so you can better heal yourself, while lowering stress and anxiety, enhancing your sleep, and improving your relationships.

The Healing Benefits of Gratitude

You may not realize that something as simple as expressing gratitude — something that costs nothing and takes very little time — can have such an impact on your health.   Yoga Masters have been teaching for centuries that gratitude is a key component of a happy, balanced and healthy life, but it’s nice to see that it’s in alignment with modern findings.  A comprehensive look at gratitude and its effects  [1]  showed that when you routinely appreciate others or even just the positive parts of your life, you can experience:

  —Less aggression  [2]

—Heightened feelings of altruism, empathy, warmth, a greater desire to treat friends, family, and strangers with more kindness (you may even set off a chain of random acts of kindness!).  When someone does something nice for you, you’ll be inspired to pay it forward  [3]

—Reduced symptoms of depression and anxiety, and more optimism  [4]

  —More trust in others

—Extra intrinsic motivation to do and achieve more  [5]

—More satisfaction from relationships (romantic relationships also get a boost from gratitude!)  [6]

—Better ability to deal with criticism/less sensitive to others’ negativity

  —Better sleep

—Lowered likelihood of developing a drug or alcohol problem

—Lowered risk of eating disorder (thanks to a healthier body image)

   —Quicker recovery from post-traumatic stress

The review suggests that there could actually be a causal relationship between gratitude and well-being.  That means increasing gratitude could directly enhance many different aspects of your life, most notably your health.  Could there be an easier, or more inexpensive way to enhance both your happiness and health?  (Okay, sometimes gratitude can be challenging when you’re feeling down — especially in the beginning–but with practice, it becomes much easier, I promise!)  Training yourself to think this way only takes a few minutes at a time, per day or even per week. Eventually, it will help shift your whole perspective on life in a much more positive way.

What Is Gratitude, Really?

That seems simple enough to answer, right?  You can feel gratitude when someone helps you out, but being thankful isn’t always related to another person.  Are you thankful for your warm clothes in the winter, even if you purchased them yourself?  What about your meals, even if you’re the one who has to prepare and cook them?

No matter what, you can focus more on the positive and choose to feel gratitude for anything, or anyone, at any time.  Once you get into the habit of consciously appreciating the positives around you, that attitude spreads over into the times when you aren’t actively practicing the feeling of thanks.  I do this when I walk down the street or wander into my backyard and gaze at the lemon tree.  I express gratitude every day for each and every unique, beautiful tree and plant I see.  I think we should all be more grateful for nature and her beauty every day!

Final note about the research. When comparing feelings of gratitude to other areas of the subjects’ lives in the studies, there were correlations between gratitude and:

—Feelings of satisfaction with life in general

—Feelings of living life to the fullest

  —More self-acceptance and personal growth

—A feeling of staying true to themselves

—The belief that they have quality relationships in their lives

How to Practice This Universal Language

Learning to practice gratitude isn’t a long, drawn-out process.  You can start right now and begin noticing differences in how you feel and your outlook on life in just a few weeks, even if you’re not practicing daily.

Keep a gratitude journal.  At the end of the day or week, write down five things you’re grateful for.  This could be something as simple as being happy the weather was warm enough for you to hike before work earlier in the week or that your spouse did the dishes.  You can even be grateful for the lemons that you use to make your hot water with lemon in the morning, that fill you with beautifying vitamin C and enzymes!

Set an alarm on your phone that will go off periodically throughout the day.  Each time it goes off, stop to remind yourself of something you’re grateful for.

Don’t jump right out of bed at the sound of your morning alarm.  Take a minute to take a few deep breaths and think of a few things that you’re happy to have in your life or experience, whether it’s a beautiful sunrise or the warm blankets you have covering you.

Do something nice for someone else, family or stranger, even if it’s just giving them a compliment and thanking them for something they did.  Spreading joy and showing your appreciation for another human being not only brightens their mood, but yours, too!

Talk with your spouse or best friend at the end of the day about what you’re grateful for.  These daily talks are more interesting than asking if they took the trash out or fed the dog, and may open the door to strengthen your relationship, especially if you start naming things you’re grateful for in each other.

Leave little notes for yourself around the office or at home that remind you of the things you’re grateful for.  Running across those during a stressful moment could make you feel better.  Try sticking them on the top of your smoothie cup or one of the meals you’ve packed for the day.

Really think about what you’re thinking. No, that isn’t a typo.  Your thoughts affect your mood, and you’ll be happier if you’re thinking thoughts of gratitude!  When a negative thought crosses your mind (it happens to everyone, of course!), take a closer look at it.  Are you just feeling grumpy and turning your bad mood into one big growing ball of negativity?  Was your ego, the image and labels you hold about yourself, somehow wounded in some way?  Is there any truth in the thought that you can use to change your situation or use as a catalyst to turn your thought into something more positive?  Once you glean the useful bits from your negative thoughts, kick the rest and give your thoughts a more positive spin.  Here’s an example. Let’s say you tried something new and failed.  Instead of saying, “I’m a failure,” remind yourself that failing — sometimes multiple times — brings you closer to your goal.  It’s still progress and you can still learn from it.  And that’s something to be grateful for.

Tell someone that you appreciate them and why.  They’ll feel good, and so will you!

Start Today!

Use this today as a starting point for a lifetime of feelings of gratitude.  Your whole outlook on life will change once you give yourself that nudge, and you’ll feel better in so many different ways when you begin focusing on the positives.  Look at what you do have, be thankful, and strive to reach out to help other people and keep the goodwill going.

The goodness in your life will blossom in even more abundance as you do.

Now here’s my turn: I’m sending gratitude to YOU for being you and part of this wonderful community.

Love,

Kimberly

THE AURAS EXPERT: “Aura Cleansing For Health And Well-Being”

Aura Cleansing for Health and Well-Being.jpg

As we accumulate unwanted energies in daily life, regular aura cleansing supports health and well-being.  Like psychic dust bunnies, we go around collecting debris on our aura, until we finally do something to cleanse it…

It is the same with personal hygiene.  If you do not bathe, your body will become dirtier and dirtier.  Gradually the smell becomes unbearable.  Eventually, your body even becomes a breeding ground for disease and bacteria.  If you do not cleanse your aura, your spiritual energy system will also become ‘dirtier and dirtier’.  Eventually you become unpleasant for others to be around (though they may not consciously understand why).  Your energy system then begins to attract lower vibrations which are also unhealthy for you and others.  And for those around you after an aura healing will believe it to be an aura cleansing spell, getting to enjoy your lightness again.

In modern culture, we expect people to take care of their personal hygiene by bathing regularly, if not daily.  But we are not yet so spiritually evolved!

Cleansing your Aura

Just like washing your hands cleans one part of your body and washing your face takes care of another… different approaches to aura cleansing will support you in clearing different aspects of your energy system.  Some aura clearing approaches are more lightweight–in terms of personal hygiene–like changing your clothes, or putting on deodorant.  They are still useful, but they can’t replace bathing!  Other methods of aura cleansing go much deeper–equivalent to having a good scrub-down, or going for a detoxifying spa treatment.

Options for Cleansing…

  • Bathing with Epsom Salts – Water helps wash away dirt, both physically and energetically.  Adding Epsom Salts to your bath stimulates the flow of your own energy and also draws minor psychic debris out of your aura.
  • Swimming – Submerging yourself in water helps cleanse your aura.  As ocean water contains salt and minerals, it is especially useful for drawing minor psychic debris out of your aura.
  • Sunlight – Gentle exposure to sunlight stimulates the flow of your own energy.  Some lower vibrations cannot exist with exposure to bright light.

FOUR MOST POWERFUL APPROACHES TO AURA CLEANSING…

1. Aura Meditation – Even basic meditation helps you relax and release.  Aura meditation works directly with releasing unwanted energies through grounding, clearing your aura, energy channels and chakras.  One of the most powerful ways to cleanse and care for your aura is energy-based aura meditation.

2. Aura Healings – In an aura healing, the healer supports you in cleansing unwanted energies out of your system.  The healer assists you in grounding out psychic debris, releasing blocks and helps you get your own energy flowing.

3. Aura Readings – Often we confuse other people’s energy with our own energy.  When we mistake foreign energy for our own, we do not want to release it.  We hold on to it because we think it is us!In a clairvoyant aura reading, a reader can help you identify your own energy and discern foreign energy.  When you recognize an energy is not you, it is much easier to release.

4. Feeling your Emotions – When your emotional energy is blocked, it creates congestion and back-up throughout your spiritual energy system.  This makes it easy to get stuck with unwanted energies.  Allowing yourself to feel hidden emotions creates a release of energy.  This movement and flow supports you in cleansing psychic debris.

Other Options for Aura Cleansing…

  • Wind -Standing with an open body posture in a strong wind supports you in releasing unwanted energies.  As sea breezes contain moisture, salt and minerals, ocean winds are especially beneficial for aura cleansing.
  • Gardening or Being in Nature – Through gardening and being in Nature, you come in direct contact with the earth.  This helps you get grounded and release unwanted energies out of your system.
  • Creativity – Creating something you’re enthusiastic about gives you a ‘creative high’.  These surges of creative energy stimulate the flow of your own energy and support you in releasing blocks and unwanted energies.

NEDA HASAN: “Top Twelve Ways to Raise Your Frequency To Attract A Vibrant, Enjoyable Life”

1562659-7

1. Sunlight

Not only is sunlight a way to make up for lost Vitamin D, but it is used to help stabilize the mood. You can shift stagnant, dull energy of the room by just opening your windows and letting light come through.

2. Sound

Solfeggio Frequencies and Binaural Beats, especially with the use of headphones, have been used to help diminish anger, depression, anxiety, and the list goes on. They are out there on YouTube for free. Check out 396 Hz on Audio Entrainment’s Channel. I would like to add that this is a perfect alternative for anyone who is lazy and reluctant to meditate. You can also listen to uplifting tunes that lift your spirit.

3. Herbs

Lavender Oil has a calming effective on the mind, especially before you go to bed. Besides the health benefits, basil is known to cure sadness and depression. Angelika root has been used centuries ago to get rid of evil spirits, but now it is used for upset stomachs, enhancing sex drive, and eliminating negativity. It should not be taken in heavy dosages, however. Burning Eucalyptus is known to help with colds. Green Oat is said to be good for addictions of any sort. Always check with your doctor if you want to consume any special herbs. Burning it however definitely will provide your home with a relaxed feel.

4. Enjoyable Exercise

Exercise, in and of itself, is known to release endorphins that help one feel better and release stress, but joy in exercise escalates the experience. If you enjoy dancing or playing tennis, do it! When you are having fun and burning calories at the same time, you are not only helping your emotional health, but physical health as well. Feeling like your workout is a burden will not help you to lift your frequency as like attracts like and a miserable journey cannot yield a happy outcome. The Key is to feel a sense of joy.

5. Water

Spending Time in Water will not only cleanse your body, but attract positive energy as Water is second closest to Source Energy, the first Being Light. This information is confirmed by Teal Swan, a legendary Spiritual Teacher. She advises to take a glass of water, set the time for a few minutes, and focus positive thoughts toward the water glass. Then drink it! Repeat this exercise for two weeks.

6. Appreciation

An attitude of gratitude is the key to abundance. Keep a Journal of positive things that cause you to feel joy just by thinking about it. It could be as menial as the violet curtains in your bedroom, or the bath filled with roses your children decorated for you when you came back from work. Positive Feelings are even more powerful than positive thoughts, so more joyful situations and thoughts will manifest. They trick is to just set aside time every day to dwell in a state of love.

6. Visualization

Visualization is the way to make it clear to the universe what it is you really want in this physical realm. When you hold up images you love and make them your phone wallpaper, or put up a vision board you see and have access to everyday, you help to materialize your goals. You cannot help but to have positive focus towards your dreams or whatever it is you are trying to attract. Visualization helps to develop clarity of what one wants in life. And you can keep adding to that board when your ideas expand. Imagining your dream lifestyle causes you to feel happy. Think of it this way: for a watchmaker to create a watch, he has to have an image of the finished result of the watch in his mind. It is the same way with your goals. Imagination is powerful. The journey becomes much easier once you know exactly just what your goals are.

7. De-clutter your Living Space

If you have a messy work desk, you can attract stressful situations. Cleaning up every once a week can remove stagnant, non-moving energy in a room to leave fresh vibrant energy flowing through. You will also feel more lively and in control of your life.

8. Eat More Fruits, Vegetables, and Nuts

Vegetables such as cucumbers not only add to clearer skin and help to reverse the aging process, but lift your energy. Nuts like almonds help with Vitamin D and help balance serotonin levels. Vegetables are not only great for vitality, but they resonate at a higher frequency that meat and processed food. They contain more life energy than dull foods like processed cheese and coffee. Never underestimate the power of Diet to transform your life.

9. Break Up with Stress

Stress weakens the immune system and can literally make one feel sick and be sick. Psychosomatic illnesses, such as excessive vomiting, are often caused by negative thoughts. Stress decreases energy and can lead to aging. When one is stress, they tend to make impulsive choices that make them feel good only physiologically and temporarily such as reaching for sugary snacks, which open the door to more disease and problems like cancer and diabetes. When one is in a relaxed state, they are less likely to manifest diseases in their life. And if diseases do arise, they are able to treat it quicker. Disease cannot survive in a body that is at ease. Your mental, emotional, and physical health are interrelated. Stress can attract more negative experiences besides illness, such as heavy workload, and unhappy relationships.

10. Watch Pure Forms of Entertainment

Most people are trained to believe the best forms of entertainment are action movies that involve, sex, drugs, and violence. Comedies like 21st Jump Street and Hangover have made blockbusters in today’s society. Movies like The Next Karate Kid and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, are seldom spoke of. Unfortunately, most people, especially in our youth, prefer a quick, easy way of forgetting reality that I call “entertainment for the sake of entertainment.” Gunshots, sexy scenes, and violence, seems to be the recipe for a great movie to many. But to me, true entertainment teaches a lesson about life, such as Forest Gump. They make people feel good, not just for a few hours of laughs and emotional excitement, but long when the movie is over. Furthermore, young kids who secretly do not like and are afraid of cheap forms of entertainment are peer-pressured and brainwashed into thinking such movies are healthy, just because it makes certain people laugh. A spiritually evolved person, however, does not feel amused by seeing a body part shot off.

11. Don’t Chase People who Aren’t Willing to Do Much for You

Many of us spend hours on celebrities or trying to get a person’s attention so they will like us. Often, are efforts go unnoticed and we feel taken for granted. You can be kinder to people than Mother Theresa ever was! If you do not respect yourself, people are not truly going to respect you. Nothing can make us truly happier then being around people who love us unconditionally, whose intentions are pure, who accept us as we are regardless of whether we are fat, skinny, short, tall, have a Ph.D, have no Ph.D, can drive, cannot drive, etc. When you stop chasing the wrong people (the people who do not care for your happiness and well-being) you give a chance for the right people to catch up. And it will not matter if they are blood-related or not, they will feel like family to you.

12. Meditate on your Thoughts

You do not have to sit-crossed legged for hours and repeat a mantra to the point of mental exhaustion to meditate. You can let go, sit back, even open your eyes. You can observe the flicker of a flame, or the waves hitting the shore. The main thing is to get lost in peace. Go in such a state of peace, that negative thoughts that were bothering you earlier tend rise to the surface, such as how embarrassed you were about that stain on your suit at work. This time, they won’t affect you because you are such in a state of peace that you will not care as feelings are more powerful than thoughts. Law of Attraction practitioners often forget that feelings also cause thoughts, it’s not just the other way around. Yes, thoughts can cause feelings, but feelings can cause thoughts as well.
