SUE MAISANO: “How To Daydream and Achieve Your Goals”

“Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.”

~Albert Einstein

Daydreaming is like meditation or hypnosis except for that it is more effortless and natural. Done properly, daydreaming can be very effective in helping us achieve our goals.

Your mind and body already know how to get into the zone of daydreaming because you had been doing it unconsciously all the time.

Perhaps when you are driving, the lengthy, repetitive and boring activity sends your mind to a space of peacefulness, or what seems like to be void and silent. With this quieting of the mind, you wander away from daily mundane and goes on a mental exploration. In other words, you started to daydream.

Everybody daydreams, it is human nature.

I had a daydream 15 years ago.

How could I remember a random daydream that long ago you ask? Well, the daydream I had seemed too foolish to me at the time, so it stood out and stuck with me. I remember I had to stop myself on the tracks and put on a mental break to get myself out of the daydream.

As a frustrated Chinese college student who wanted to come to America, I had a lot of worries, one of which was relationship. I didn’t have any relationship problems per se actually, because I had no one to have a relationship with, aka I was a desperate single.

One day as I was randomly strolling the campus on the walkway my mind slips away. Admit this light, glowing and pleasant feeling, I thought maybe I would marry an American guy one day and have a bunch of cute mixes.

I was not sure if I initiated the thought or the thought found me. I felt that the latter was more appropriate. The thought was soft and gentle, and it brought pleasant sensations. I was free from everyday struggles for a few brief seconds while I was bathed in the daydream.

Then my logical thinking kicked in. My inner voice said this was not possible so stop thinking like this and fool yourself. I brought myself out of the daydream by deciding to focus on something more “practical”.

Nevertheless, that daydream was realized years later, against all odds.

Many inventions, scientific breakthroughs and writings were conceived in the daydream like state.

Einstein came up with the Special Theory of Relativity in daydreams. His saying that “Imagination is more important than knowledge” further testifies the importance of imagination and daydreaming.

Edison kept a small bed in his office where he daydreamed about his next inventions. If not for his immense creativity the world might still be a “dark” place.

And as your mind and body grow accustomed to a certain amount of sleep each night — six hours, seven, maybe the recommended eight — so can you train your waking mind to sleep creatively and work out the vividly imagined waking dreams which are successful works of fiction.”

You see, great minds recognize the importance of imagination and daydream to bring out creativity as well as accomplish personal goals.

How to use daydreaming to reach your goals?

Daydreaming is a state of being that we naturally go through each day. You can choose to purposefully daydream and raise your vibrations. When you daydream, you somewhat detach from the physical and access higher planes where energies can manifest into physical existence. You start to tap into the source where physical realities spring from. In other words, you become more creative.

Practicing entering the daydream space purposefully will help you draw closer what you desire. Here are a few steps to help you initiate and deepen your daydream abilities:

1. Find a quiet space.

Daydreaming is a type of “dream” so treat it like a dream. When you go to sleep each night, you put on your soft pajamas, retreat to your bed, cover yourself with warm blankets, and turn off the light. You close your eyes and side aside the day’s happenings.

You drop deeper and deeper into sleep where dreams may occur. You do it at each night at around the same time, same place, same procedures that it’s almost like a ritual. Similarly, with a daydream you need a quiet space, especially a quiet mental space where you can safely set aside the daily mundane.

Find a time and place where you won’t be constantly interrupted. Maybe take a short walk in the woods or on a trail. Maybe use the mental space in the soothing shower in the morning. Maybe it’s a place in your house where you feel comfortable for your daily daydreaming. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to daydream first when you go to bed each night.

2. Let go of logical thinking.

Sometimes you dream of your deceased relatives, but in that dream it may not occur to you that your relative had already passed. Sometimes in your dream you have a completely different identity than what you are in your waking hours. However, the dream self does not question its own validity.

It’s because your logical thinking is in suspension when you are in a dream. You are free from your logical restrictions. Your imagination grows wings when you dream. Similarly, when you daydream, suspend your logical thinking. Einstein said: “Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.”

If your logical thinking is interfering with your daydream you certainly are restricted and won’t be able to access the Universal energy with unlimited potential. In fact, you won’t even be able to daydream if you cannot let go of your logical thinking for even a brief moment.

Of course that is not to deny the power of your logical thinking at other times. What you need to practice on is to let go of logical thinking when you intent to do so. It’s a mental discipline to direct your will.

3. Let go of expectations.

After your daydream, carry out your daily activities as if nothing had happened. Don’t become obsessed with what you daydreamed about. When you do the actual daydreaming, you are delivering your message to the Universe. The Universe is always hearing and responding, and it initiates motion, which may not be visible on the physical plane, towards manifestations of your dream.

Let go of expectations is to allow it to happen and is perhaps the hardest part of bringing your daydream to reality. For everything we do we tend to cast our bet, our preferences of how things should go. If things go our way we are happy, if things are going against us we are worried. Our emotions are greatly controlled by what’s happening outside of us. We truly become a victim with no control.

We entangle ourselves in the process of creation and block the process of manifestation. What we are doing is to compare the outside happenings with what we hold in our expectations and we see this discrepancy. We then mess the process of creation with our negative emotions, further pushing our dream reality away from us.

It’s a downward spiral. With letting go of expectations we lose the comparison. Then the outside happenings become neither good nor bad because we don’t cast our bets, our preferences. This level of letting go allows the Universal energy to proceed naturally without any restrictions.

Then all of a sudden, when you are least expecting it your dream become a reality in a magical way! By then you might have already forgot that once you daydreamed about it. Such is the beauty of letting go of expectations.

Now you have it, three steps to bring your daydream to reality. Find a quiet space, let go of logical thinking, and let go of expectation. Which one do you think is the easiest? Which one do you think is the hardest part? Can you let go, even just a little bit? What are you daydreaming today?

CONSCIOUS REMINDER: “When Divine Source Knocks On Your Door — Pay Attention To Synchronicity”

Sometimes, it is not unusual to live or feel stuck at the time when we are not sure which opinion we should take, or which direction we should go, and which offer will be for our highest good. This can happen to every one of us — including you who are reading now.

Every one of us can get caught or stuck in a trap which will make us feel that we need to do, do and do. Well, we believe that this is entirely okay — pausing or reflecting for some time — in order to realize what is working and what is not working.

There is another saying or metaphor usually used for this: Sometimes, you will take the appropriate decision if you grab the oars and steer yourself to specific desires or goals. While in other times, it will also be appropriate to put those oars down in order to see at what place the river or current of life is taking you. This means “Living into the answer.”

So, when you go through periods of feeling caught up or stuck a little bit, you should take your time to meditate, pray or ask synchronicity for help.

Synchronicities, which are also known as coincidences, are the clear signs which indicate that our Divine source knocks on our door. There are times that it can be a nice and soft tap, but sometimes, where we do not pay enough attention, it may be quite a noisy or loud bang. But, a source which works through such synchronicities may manifest itself authentically.

Do you hear the same saying or phrase from more people during the day? Do you notice repeating numbers showing around you? Has your friend mentioned the person you have been thinking of right when he or she mentioned them? Have you ever met a person that seemed to have the answer to your question which you never asked yourself?

All of these are signs which indicate that you have to stop, be open, pay more attention, or more importantly, acknowledge that your Divine tries to send messages to you. With the help of synchronicities, there may also be people in your life who stepped into it unexpectedly. The influence of those people may lead you somewhere new, provide you with alternative understanding and change your entire life.

Here are a few tips about working with synchronicities:

When we pay more attention to or notice meaningful synchronicities or coincidences, it will be easier for them when it comes to increasing of their number in our life.

We should notice when we run into other people, or listen to their conversation because there may be some hidden messages for us.

If we have some problem in life, we should try to turn it over to synchronicity. Or, what we are supposed to say to our Divine Source would be to ask it to show us and let us be aware of or act when any guidance or answer is presented in front of us.

We are working with our journal or intuition in order to become more conscious when our source knocks on the door.

We have to believe that everything is possible, and even this is. Having our attitude positive is going to enhance our experience, while a negative one is going to shut the experience down.

Synchronicities usually act as mile markers or signposts that guide and direct us. They can also help us to align ourselves with our personal growth. We should be careful and notice when we are sent such signals, signs, patterns, articles, people, books, and so on.

Synchronicities are like small gifts. They are unique gifts which help direct us on our path towards our goals, so they may also help us follow the guidance of our soul.

NIKKI SAPP: “Giving Advice and Being the Light for Others”

“I find the best way to love someone is not to change them but instead, help them reveal the greatest version of themselves”

~Dr. Steve Maraboli

At a certain point in our spiritual journey we begin to unlock our own inner truth. We no longer are looking to outside sources such as religions, gurus, self-help books, etc. to tell us what to do and how to be, but instead we begin to realize that the answers were inside of us all along.

Not to say that we still don’t read books or open ourselves up to learning from others, but rather we have a more clear connection with our own intuition, which allows us to FEEL the “truth” rather than intellectualize it only.

When we were at the point that we needed outside sources to show us the way, they were coincidentally brought into our lives, either in the forms of other people, reading material, or any modality of spirituality that best fit our own personal needs.

Once, we have graduated from needing the constant affirmation and validation from these outside entities, we most likely will find that we have become the “teacher” that has manifested in someone else’s life in the form of a way-shower.

Then it becomes our turn to be the light on someone else’s path. If you have found yourself in this position, consider your responsibility very carefully. Life is a constant journey of learning and growing, and just like there will be countless teachers on our path of growth, we will also find ourselves in situations that we must be the teacher.

So what is the most effective way of being the light and giving someone advice? How do we go about showing someone the way to their own inner truth while still allowing them to learn their own lessons without our interference?

“A teacher is never a giver of truth; he is a guide, a pointer to the truth that each student must find for himself.”

~Bruce Lee

The only person we will have the power to change is ourselves. No matter how much we want the best for someone, want them to be happy, want them to realize their inner light, or want them to be their best self, we cannot force them to do any of these things.

And just like we had to walk our own journey, complete with struggle, adversity, heartache, sadness, anger, etc.. we must realize that all these things are a part of the human experience, so they too will most likely have to go through all of them.

When we give advice to others we must always realize we are only speaking from our own inner truth, the truth as we know it given the situations and circumstances that we’ve experienced.

However, their life is not ours. Their truth will never be exactly the same as our truth because their mind is not our mind and their life has not been exactly as ours has. What we can do however is be in our own awareness and light so strongly that we become an inspiration for them to find their own awareness and light.

If a person comes to us for advice and questions we can’t come up with a million “You need to…” or “You should do this…”, directives, but instead, only point them in the direction of their own inner light and unconditional love. The only advice there ever is to really give is to accept the “what is” and love yourself anyway.

All arrows should point back to unconditional love of the self… no matter if the person is sad, depressed, frustrated, insecure, it doesn’t matter. As long as they have identified the feeling, felt it without resisting it, accepted themselves for having it and loved it, there can be nothing else to do. Without attaching ourselves to the outcome of whether they follow our advice or not, we actually free ourselves and them.

We don’t fear for them, because we trust that their journey is bringing them to the right people and situations that are perfect for them. And they don’t abandon their own inner self by blindly attaching to whatever we are saying as their ultimate truth, which may not always be what’s best for them.

However, if we find that we have been put in another person’s life to help them, guide them or show them something, we must trust that the Universe is speaking through us in the best and most effective way possible. Without doubting ourselves, we find that our inner light shines automatically and manifests in the best way possible for all parties involved, as long as we trust that it always will.

“As we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence actually liberates others.”

~Marianne Williamson

We will sometimes be students and we will sometimes be teachers in life. Since we cannot ever know everything about everything, we will find that this role reversal happens over and over throughout our lives.

The most amazing thing about all of this is that as soon as we think we are giving someone else advice and showing them the way, as most teachers know, we realize that we were also giving ourselves the same advice.

Sometimes the Universe brings another person to us in the form of a student, but in actuality in our helping of them, we are actually helping ourselves with the same issue. By being in the form of another person, we were able to look at the situation in a different way, from a 3rd party perspective, that we weren’t able to do when dealing with ourselves and our own life.

As always, we must be the change we wish to see in the world. In doing this, we find that we always attract the right people into our lives, either to teach us something about ourselves or to be the teacher for them.

But if we really pay attention and become super aware of how things happen in this ironic Universe, we realize…. it is always both.

SHERRIE DILLARD: “Synchronicities — Dance With The Cosmic Flow”

We are being led. There is a presence moving through our heart, mind, and soul that guides and directs us. Meaningful coincidences or synchronicities, open us to new insights and help us to understand ourselves and what is happening around us in new ways. Synchronicity is intuition expressed in the outer world.

Synchronicities are no accident. The universe has carefully orchestrated the seemingly impossible convergences of things, people, events, and conditions. It does not matter how great or small the coincidence may be. We immediately recognize when we intersect with the cosmic. Although others may not always be able to feel and see it, we know when we are touched by the transcendent. The heart smiles, the mind opens, and like an Olympian gymnast, the soul joyously flips and leaps.

Offering a Glimpse into a Forgotten Reality

Synchronicities provide us with a glimpse into a reality that we have forgotten. They speak to the authentic self that is comfortable and at home in the realm of cosmic truth. Despite the powerful effect that a synchronicity can have on us, we all too soon attempt to dumb it down by rationalization.

We want to creep back into the logical and the rational as if the cosmic doors had not flung open. The thinking mind wants to take charge and explain away the magic and unexplainable; don’t let it. Live with the mystery and allow it to flow through the mind, body and spirit like a healing balm. Synchronicities invite us to experience life through the cosmic portal of connection and oneness. Soak in the deep rays of the universal life force current and allow it to promote and support aspects of self that we may not always have the courage to know.

Helpful Suggestions to Increase the Flow

Here are some suggestions that can help to increase the flow of synchronicities:

Ask for Synchronicities

Simple, but true, when we ask for synchronicities, we experience them. As we let go of our expectations of how and when they occur, they naturally flow into our life in surprising ways. Just make the intent and allow the universe to manifest it.

Notice the Effect

However big, small or insignificant they may seem to be, the effect that a synchronicity has on our heart and soul is what matters. When we notice synchronicities and embrace them, they multiply.

Communicate with Your Surroundings

Imagine synchronicities as a form or communication with the universe. We don’t always notice when divine presence is answering and responding to our needs and requests. Synchronicities let us know that we are known and heard. They are a calling card informing us that we are watched over and that we are in the flow of our soul’s current.

Act On That Guidance

Synchronicities alert us to possibilities and open us to higher wisdom and love. Noticing and acting on them strengthens our soul energy and guides us into the positive. Even though life can be challenging at times, synchronicities remind us that unexpected good fortune can come to us to in surprising ways.

Have Gratitude

Live with the awareness that a wonderful, personally crafted surprise is on its way. Say, thank you, blow a big kiss and dance with the cosmic flow of the all that is. The positive and abundant energy of universal divine joy and creativity is available to us, wherever we are, and in whatever we are doing.

LIFE COACH CODE: “7 Little Known Laws of The Universe You Need To Know To Awaken Further”

In order for us to evolve and thrive we need to align ourselves with the truth.

We need to have a basic understanding of the laws of The Universe before we can fully align ourselves in its frequencies and energies.

There are at least 7 basic laws of The Universe we need to be aware of in order to awaken to our truth and unlock our full potential. These laws are intuitively known by all of us.

However, we need to be consciously reminded of them so we’ll become aware.

Here are these 7 basic laws you should remind yourself with so you can stay aligned with your truth.

7 Little Known Laws of The Universe You Need To Be Reminded Of:

1. Balance Of Opposites

Everything in The Universe is dual from our perspective. There’s hot and cold, yin and yang, day and night, life and death. The list could go on and on. However, the secret to existence and evolution is all about the balance of the opposites.

The Earth and all life forms within it thrive because of balance. Without balance, there wouldn’t be anything.

Life continues to thrive because of the balance between creation and destruction. The Universe exists because of the balance between the energy that pushes it apart and the force that pulls it together. Balance between the elements enables life on this planet.

2. Sacred Geometry

Sacred geometry is believed to be the blueprint for the design of The Universe and refers to the set of geometrical patterns, mathematical ratios, and structural designs found in nature.

The Golden Ratio is part of Sacred Geometry and it can be found everywhere in nature as well as in most designs of beauty designed by humans.

Even natural systems for growth, development of societies, social behavior, weather patterns, organizations of galaxies, everything follows the principles of Sacred Geometry.

3. Electro Magnetic Universe

The Earth is an electromagnetic entity with magnetic fields interacting with each other.

Consciousness, which could be electromagnetic frequency, seems to dictate the nature of the holographic Universe.

Humans have just tapped into this field and more exploration is needed in this area.

4. The Law Of Love

Love supports growth and it is a natural frequency of life. Yet, it doesn’t mean love is all about positive vibes. It can be painful and it can be liberating.

Love is the vibration of truth and whenever you manage to tune into it your whole system is replenished, open and primed for further evolution.

The default state of being for every person is love. The distortion of truth is based on the frequency of fear. When we love someone we love them because they remind us of truth.

5. The Golden Rule

The golden rule is translated to the principle of not doing to others what you do not like to be done to you by others. However, the rule is deeper than what the human psyche translated it to be.

It stands for karma in which everything that you send out to The Universe will come back to you, or all your actions have an equal reaction.

The energy is neutral and the way you interpret the reactions is subjective. Sometimes the reactions might seem unfair to you, sometimes you might not even realize the pattern. But every action has an equal and opposite reaction and that’s what this rule stands for.

6. People Have Complete Right Over Themselves

People own themselves and have the sole control over their life and destiny. They’re entitled to decide for themselves and have their own choices.

Most of us live our lives as if we are not free. We imagine systems to put us in check, we create narratives and excuses of why we cannot choose our actions freely.

We do this because the realization of complete freedom scares us, the complete responsibility of our life is terrifying to us. But the truth is, you are completely free to make your own choices. The more you awaken to your truth the freer you become.

7. Nobody Lives In The Same Reality

We are species with various senses. But even our senses fall short to make us perceive the complete reality. Our reality is limited to our senses. Even the slightest increase or decrease in the ability of our senses changes the reality of the observer.

Our mind is not capable of grasping the complete reality. We can only perceive a fraction of the information from the real reality thanks to our senses and it’s enough for us to survive. But who knows how many layers of reality we are blind to.

Even the things we perceive are filtered through our own biases and beliefs. Because of this, it’s safe to assume that each observer lives in a completely different reality from others. Each of us is free to shape their reality any way they want adjusting their filters.
