MARION SELISTA: “15 Keys To Unleash Your True Authentic Self”

Every person is unique and has something to offer the world. Being authentic means embracing who you are and accepting your uniqueness.

However, being the real you is a challenge to most people because they either don’t know how to connect with their true self or how to unleash it. You are always trying to please others, and live up to society’s expectations, forgetting yourself.

When you finally make yourself a priority, that’s when your life starts. You honor yourself by unleashing your true self. You can now say NO to things and people that do not serve you.

Here’s how you can unleash your true authentic self by using the below 15 key ways.

1. Hello, it is you

Being real starts with discovering who you are deep at the core; what you stand for; your strengths and weaknesses; your passion; and what makes you happy. Knowing yourself will make you happy and experience less inner conflict thus make better decisions. You can also resist social pressure and understand others which makes you a better individual.

2. Self-acceptance

What you think of yourself is shaped over the years by both positive and negative experiences. You will be on the path to self-acceptance when you start restructuring the way you view yourself. You must learn to admit your flaws, and accept what you can’t change. Always set small goals every day, never give up and surround yourself with positivity.

3. Reframe your life according to your principles

The expectations placed on you by society are challenging to live up to. Reframe your life by creating rules for yourself that match your values. Focus on self-care and things that bring the best in you. You will no longer have to follow what everyone expects and can take charge of your life.

4. Meditate

Meditation is a very effective method of unleashing your true self. It draws you into a place deep within yourself for self-reflection and awareness hence giving you a push in the right direction. Daily meditation can result in a rewiring of your brain allowing the decreasing stress and tension.

5. Follow your bliss

You get increased happiness and satisfaction when you do what makes you happy. Doing what you love gives you a sense of purpose and belonging, clear objectivity and self-awareness. Identify what you are genuinely passionate about and give yourself to it thus unleash your true self.

6. Find your purpose

You find your place in life when you identify the reasons for your actions and set meaningful goals. It keeps you motivated throughout your life and you remain focused on meeting them.

7. Don’t look for external approval

Seeking external validation is a burden and affects your decisions in your life. Stop letting the outside world dictate your opinions or actions. Your dreams don’t have to be acceptable to everyone. You will be happier living by your beliefs.

8. Practice gratitude

Being a grateful person has numerous benefits; it makes your life easier, happier, and healthier both physically and psychologically. You look at life with a positive attitude. You can maintain excellent relationships with others. Practice it through; letters of appreciation when someone does a good thing for you; sharing with family everything you are grateful for during meals; Writing on paper what you are thankful for and putting it in a jar; keep a journal of things you are thankful for and not taking what you have for granted.

9. Be present

You embrace the real you when you start living in the present and avoid obsessing about the past. Enjoy every moment.

10. Compare yourself to you only

Comparing yourself to others only results in evaluating and rating yourself by chasing symbols of status and success. Unlock your authentic self by accepting yourself the way you are and measuring yourself by your standards.

11. Become your best self

Master these three elements that make you the best you can be;

Connectedness  appreciate what you have now by showing love for what you have and don’t take anything for granted.

Calm observe your thoughts as they pass through your mind by staying calm.

Motivation  understanding the reason you do the things you do will spur you to continue striving to accomplish your objective.

12. Love

People often ridicule and give you a strange look when you are authentic. Self-love entails accepting and expressing your true self. It involves loving yourself and living life to the fullest just the way you are. You can’t give love if you don’t love yourself first.

13. Trust

Follow your wisdom and gut instead of looking externally for inner peace. Avoid seeking others’ opinions and get guidance from within yourself. Honor your emotions instead of hiding them thus unleashing the real you.

14. Authenticity

If you can’t be yourself, who else can you be? Connect with your inner self. It involves letting go of the false identity of who you think you should be and instead allowing the real you to emerge.

15. Affirmation

Affirmations are very easy and powerful to use. They train your mind through repetition and positive encouragement to connect to yourself. It entails thinking good thoughts, expressing who you are, taking actions to meet your needs and doing what you want. It builds self-esteem and unleashes your true self.

Final words

Learning to unleash your true authentic self is not an easy task- though it is a rewarding challenge. You discover yourself; identify your true passions; let go of past mistakes and accept yourself. You break free from crippling self-doubts and love yourself just the way you are. Being the real you helps you find your purpose, build your self-esteem; and brings you happiness in life.

CONSCIOUS REMINDER: “7 Benefits From Stepping Out Of Your Comfort Zone”

Ascension Avatar: A double-Pisces with Cancer ascending like myself might disagree about ‘stepping out’ of the comfort zone since that ‘comfort zone’ is usually our ‘right path’… My advice would be to tune IN to your comfort zone to tap into your true essence and highest self… where any ‘hidden talents’ as mentioned here may be ‘discovered’… 🙂

.   .   .

A comfort zone is psychological space where we feel the safest and find the most comfort.

It’s the style of living where everything is familiar and the challenges are so mundane that nothing can surprise us.

But if everything is familiar to you and nothing can surprise you than there is nothing new and exciting in your life either.

Even though comfort zones are a natural program we create to keep us safe with less energy input, sometimes they are our prison. They keep us safe as much as prison walls keep prisoners safe from the outside world.

In some cases, comfort zones might even be harmful to your health, and you’ll subconsciously assume you are safe, just because you are surrounded with the familiar unhealthy behaviors.

Humans are not meant to just stay safe. We are meant to live and living means sometimes we need to explore unknown territories, both outside and inside of ourselves.

Like a gold that keeps its shine with every polishing, so are human beings designed to shine with every pressure there is. Comfort zones couldn’t give us that.

But comfort zones are not bad as long as you have the courage to break out of them. In fact, that’s how you grow.

7 Character Evolving Benefits From Breaking Out of Your Comfort Zone

Here are the 7 most important character evolving benefits we get from breaking out of our comfort zones:

1. Outside of your comfort zone is where you feel most alive

Let’s travel back in time when you were still a kid. Remember the times you were scared of trying new things?

By doing the thing you were scared of, you felt the most alive. You learned something that stayed with you.

2. Breaking out of your comfort zone develops your character

As you grow older, you give more value on stability because stability promises you security.

But security does not develop you, finding security or creating it does.

You can do that only by exploring into the unknown, where things are not so familiar and you must think outside of your daily pattern.

And that’s how you develop new aspects of your character.

3. Outside of your comfort zone is where you find new passions and discover hidden talents

You are like a flower, and the real essence of who you are is covered by the leaves of the flower. As you go through life you open some leaves.

But most people open just a few, never realizing who they really are and what their potential really is.

By breaking out of your comfort zone you try new things and you open more and more from the flower.

You discover other aspects of yourself, other passions and different talents that you have. That’s how you find out your essence.

4. Breaking out of your comfort zone gives you new realms to explore

Spending more of your time with the same people, talking about the same topics with the same flow of reasoning may make you close-minded to all the other ways of living.

When you expose yourself to a different setting, another group of people, other opinions and cultures, you go to realms you never thought existed. Your mind opens up.

By doing the same routine every day you are living a mechanical existence. Your brain uses the same neurons and neural pathways.

The countless other neural pathways and potential neural connections stay dormant, all these other ways of seeing the world are unused.

But once you go to an unfamiliar territory to explore, your mind fully activates and you see things with a greater clarity.

In a way, you force your mind to use different neural pathways by changing the pattern.

You can try by just turning your phone off to focus on new things. It works wonders.

5. Escaping your comfort zone builds your self-confidence

Anxiety issues might arise by merely thinking of talking to strangers. But actually doing that is how you make the anxiety fade away from your life.

By trying new things you have never done before, it’s normal to feel a little afraid and have anxiety. That’s a healthy response to new situations.

However, being strong enough to not let those emotions decide for you is what builds your confidence.

By gaining experiences of situations where you were courageous enough, despite the outcome, you are giving yourself memories from where your self-esteem can arise.

The easier it is for you to get self-esteem, the stronger self-confidence you will have. And the stronger self-confidence you have, the less anxiety you will feel.

6. Getting out of your comfort zone makes you an interesting person

Amazing things start to happen once you break out of your comfort zone. Because they’re new, they’ll appear weird, crazy and epic.

These things are full with details and emotions. They shape great stories and interesting conversations with people.

People would always like to hear about your new adventure and the crazy things you encountered along the way.

Even if you are really bad at telling stories, just sharing your memories from outside of your comfort zone makes you a lot more interesting person than anyone who rarely escapes their comfort zone.

7. Outside of your comfort zone fills your heart and expands your spirit

When you spread your wings to fly, you’ll see different communities and worlds that exist. You get to learn from them. You discover new things.

There are a lot of sports, activities, foods, books, events and music to experience. There are countless places and people to get to know.

There are categories you can explore that you don’t even know are out there. The world is a much bigger place than you can even imagine.

You cannot explore all the art and all the beautiful creations people have given even if you try something new every second.

There is no logical reason to not do what fills your heart and expands your spirit, especially in today’s age when you can do almost everything through a device in your pocket.

Life is a gift. It’s such a waste to spend it in mundane routines and predictability.

Taking the first steps may seem terrifying. But that fear fades the moment you take action.

ZOE DAVENPORT: “New Moon Energy Update”

“If movement and music feel good in the heart, if it brings a smile it will be feeling good for the body, allow the voice to also activate through what sounds it needs to make to clear through those unspoken words. Scream, shout, let it all out with this new moon as the energy will certainly carry an expanded potential to release on the subatomic layers of your being.”

~Zoe Davenport

If you have been feeling the collective energies it could be described as somewhat chaotic and a sense of moving backwards in time as the mind looks to rationalise the emotions coming out to play by hashing up old events, stories and timelines.

As we are moving into a very important part of 2018, to keep on track with what the heart is communicating on more subtle levels through the body, intuition and allowing things to sit and wait out a little more before acting upon.

The most effective way to clear through any old stuck energy right now is movement, get outside and play in the sunshine, dance around in your living room listening to your favourite music, shaking, jiggling, anything to get the body moving through the cellular memories of old beliefs.

It’s a conditioning with the mind/body and spirit to balance out so the cells can restore through the cleansing of carbon density, move into a more fluid way of creation, and resonate with more light.  This comes from attuned vibration through activating your energies in a way that is taking away from the mind and rational thoughts to stepping into what FEELS good in the NOW.  This new moon is will be feeling good with movement, play, jumping!

If movement and music feel good in the heart, if it brings a smile it will be feeling good for the body, allow the voice to also activate through what sounds it needs to make to clear through those unspoken words.  Scream, shout, let it all out with this new moon as the energy will certainly carry an expanded potential to release on the subatomic layers of your being.

This is a time to be inspired though yang, action through joy, movement through alignment to what the body needs to wake up, get going to flow through.

Talking is done, there is no more need to keep going over the “minds” “rational” version of events right now, it is quicker to call the body to the party to let go and surrender through being free in the moment to express how it needs to.

This will be a powerful time leading up to the summer solstice energies on the 21st June 2018 and the new moon movement energies are able to hold the frequency to the newness of what wants to manifest into the second half of 2018.

The movement will create a balance energetically as the body is feeling safe through self-expression and joy to release stuck beliefs.

This is a time of newness as our bodies are shifting and are needed to be loved unconditionally through the process, the old loops and cycles of past events cannot settle when there is a continued flow of energy throughout so keep moving and shaking and this yang will hold us safe through the shifts.

Set the intentions and allow it to feel good in the body, in the energy centers, in the heart, call in for support from the collective, and continue to play through each emotion by understanding then moving and activating the voice.

Don’t be afraid of self-expression through movement and play it will be an integral part to ascension and stepping into more fluid dimensional experiences and stuck energy cannot shift when the focus is on stuck energy is needs fluidity and light to flush through.  Much like the body detoxes so too the energetic systems need a clearing and moving, shaking and the voice will support and expand this process.

Shake, shake, shake, dance, jiggle, wiggle, scream, shout, let it ALL out, these old paradigm emotions have no space to reside within the cells of joy and love so allow a joyful new practice to come into motion this coming week and you will feel more abundantly supported, clear less stuck and spacious within the cells.

Abundant Blessings | Zoe Davenport

CREATOR COURSE: “The Power Of Thought”

power-of-thoughts

You are responsible for everything you have brought into your life, everything you have left out of your life, and everything that you are currently intending to bring into your life.  Every single relationship, association, difficulty, failure, fear, plan, hope, and success is in your control no matter whether you have been guided there consciously or subconsciously.  Every mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual state of being that you are experiencing right now is completely under your power.  If you think not, then you are giving away your innate power to others.  Everything in your life that I have just spoken about above originated, originates, and will originate from one matter — thought.

Your thoughts harness all your power and you wield this power through your thinking.  What you think about is up to you.  Thoughts trigger every word that comes out of your mouth, every action you go forward with, and every habit you form.  In turn, these self-expressions shape and mold your character and as we all know it, your character determines the destiny that guides you.  Thoughts actually emanate and radiate energy to and from your body.  They directly influence the physical, mental, emotional, social, sexual, and spiritual effort your body, mind, and spirit is willing to produce.  Since your thoughts directly correlate to the frequency of your vibrational being, be mindful of what you express — remember love is that of a high vibration and fear is that of a low one.  Each thought you create sends a vibration through your being and out into the universe.

At their most basic purpose, thoughts are how you creatively express your individuality.  Nurture your thoughts and take intense care after what you feed to your mentality.  Be mindful of what you mentally create as it has a majority of the effect in what you intend and create within your reality.

You form about 60,000 thoughts every single day and about 95% of those thoughts get exactly recreated the following day.  That 95%, as you could have guessed, is subconsciously created.  Make sure that those thoughts are what you consciously intend to create within your reality.

If you are unsure how powerful your thoughts and intentions really are, then let me explain to you the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto.  He gathered distilled water and blessed the specimens with a simple thought or intention as well as labeled others with words such as love or gratitude.  He froze the droplet samples and then placed them under a microscope to astonishingly find beautiful crystals react and reflect the initial thought or intention.  The crystals bore symmetrical and hexagonal snowflakes that all remained unique to one another.  It is interesting to think if this is how thoughts affected water, suppose how powerful they could affect you.

EARTH DRUM COUNCIL: “Guidelines for Participating in a Drum Circle”

drum circle2.jpg

A drum circle is a community cooperating together to make something greater than the sum of its parts.  That’s why there’s more to a good drum circle than expert drumming.  In music, as with all forms of communication, the silence between the notes is as important as the notes themselves, and listening is as important as voicing.

If you are a novice drummer, watch the skilled drummers.  If you cannot hear what they are doing, play more quietly.  Use fewer notes rather than play every beat.  Leave spaces in your playing so that other drummers will have space to play in.  Using fewer notes will help you keep up speed with the other drummers and dancers, and also allows you to be more creative.  It is all right to get lost.  If you do, stop playing for a while, listen for the basic pulse, and join in with it.  It is not necessary to play something entirely different from everybody else; try playing the same rhythm as other people at least part of the time.  Repetition is an important and integral part of drumming.  Use your eyes as well as your ears to understand what is happening.  Pay attention, look and listen while you play.

If you are an experienced or lead drummer, be responsible.  Listening is even more important when you are the glue holding the rhythm together.  Be aware of the energy of the group.  Add solos only when the existing rhythm is well established.  If you are starting a new rhythm, choose one that others can easily join.  Work with the whole group of drummers and dancers.  Playing with a well rehearsed group is easy.  Playing with a mixed crowd of novice and experienced drummers is more challenging, but it can bring out the best in everyone, and be a lot of fun.

Drums can be classified as having a tone which is low, middle, or high in range.  If you sit close to other people who have drums that have a similar tone and volume to yours, it will help give the rhythms focus and cut down on distractions.

Be aware that bells, claves and shakers cut through the sound of all the other instruments.  That is why they are the timekeepers and the key to most complex rhythms.  These are sometimes called the “guideline” instruments, and they should hold to a steady part rather than “jam”.  If you are a novice drummer, it is good to learn the basic bell and clave parts if you can follow and learn from someone more experienced.  Bells and claves can throw the whole group off if they are out of sync, so when in doubt go back to the basic pulse.

We are all teachers and learners.  Don’t hesitate to ask for help to figure out a rhythm, or to offer help to someone else.

It is customary to ask permission of a drum’s owner before playing it — but don’t be afraid to ask!  If you do not wish to have anyone else play your drum, please put it away or cover it when you are not using it.  If you borrow someone else’s drum, please observe the basics: remove rings before playing hand drums, and return the instrument to where you found it.

Please do not play melodic instruments like flutes and guitars at drum council.  They confine the rhythm instruments to the span of their melody, and can be very distracting.

Do, however, feel free to express yourself with your voice.  Chanting which blends with the rhythm can enhance the overall effect.

Most of all, have fun!  Drumming and dancing are wonderful forms of creative self expression, and the drum council is a great place for us to express ourselves together.
