Watch your words carefully as they carry more power than you realize. Many are becoming aware of the power of thoughts, words and are more discerning in their choices. Yes, it is a choice moment by moment. More immediate results than you realize.

It is via stillness, meditation, concentration, awareness that you become aware of the power of your thoughts; words leading to actions. When one is the observer in the 3rd person and not immersed in the drama of their own making a wiser perspective emerges. Greater understanding with more discernment guides daily choices. The inner reflects the outer and more discretionary decisions are made.

One can still be very present, live in the moment; however, the focus of an aware life is more refined like sand which slowly and gently flows through your fingers with little abrasive quality.

Listen to the words of others but more importantly discern your own thoughts and words. Become a detached observer with no judgment or criticism. Allow corrections to your thought patterns and/or actions to be done with gentleness and softness.

Treat yourself with respect. Embrace your imperfections. Allow growth to emerge with constant nurturing and self-love. Focus on your thoughts, your words. Refine your choices.

Most of us have seen “The Secret”.   We’ve probably heard that “you become what you think about most” and “thoughts become things.”  We’ve devoted ourselves to the teachings of Abraham Hicks and Jack Canfield and Michael Beckwith.  We’ve all bought into “the power of positive thinking” and “don’t be negative.”

BUT HERE’S THE COLD HARD TRUTH.

Everybody wants the sunshine — nobody wants pain.  You can’t have a rainbow without any rain.

True spiritual growth isn’t about ignoring all negative thoughts and feelings and beliefs.  The only true way out is THROUGH it.  You can only run from your soul for so long, but old gremlins from the past do pop back up, and the sooner we deal with it, the more we free our spirit.  The Law of Attraction is actually more subjective then it is objective.  It’s a very personal, rather than impersonal journey.  The experience varies from person to person.  We’ve all had a bad day where something did not go our way and we want to vent, but the moment we try to vent, our best friend goes, “Just be positive and forget all that garbage.”

Another example is a man who is going through a divorce and he tries to explain how he is feeling to his friends, but his friends just convince him to suck it up, go to the bar, and have a drink.  This is emotional invalidation.  Temporary escapes only keep you satisfied for a short while — perhaps just a few hours.  It doesn’t erase the problem.  Just like me throwing my fist at the wall to relieve my anger, just helps me feel a sense of power for a little while only.  It doesn’t solve the problem.  Not that there is anything wrong with taking a break from the situation so that our energy is recharged, but that does not mean throwing the baby out with the bathwater altogether.

We have confused our physiological and ego-based emotions with our soul emotions.  They are not the same thing.  Our carnal desires represent only temporary satisfaction.  Yes, we have physical needs that are important, but we also have emotional needs.  Our true emotions come from our soul.  Our soul sends us messages through some of our most hidden feelings that we try to conceal from others.  We hurt our spirits when we don’t listen to our souls, when we turn away from our feelings, and when we try to run from them.  This manifests in the physical world too, in our relationships, our energy levels, and our physical health.

So How in the World does this all tie in to the Law of Attraction?

The law of attraction is not just about eating a sandwich because it makes you feel less hungry physically.  It’s not about sleeping because you’re tired.  Although those methods do work temporarily to make you feel better, they aren’t the answer to deeper problems.

The law of attraction is tied into our CHOICES we make with our feelings and our BELIEFS about ourselves.  When we believe we do not have a right to express our feelings like disappointment, jealousy, depression, insignificance, hurt, betrayal, excitement, joy, we turn away from our true-selves (our souls), and we damage our self-esteem and our spirit.  We are indirectly telling ourselves “Our feelings do not matter.” Our lives reflect more seemingly proof that our feelings do not matter such as someone telling you they are too busy to hear you or spend time on you.  Of course, our feelings are not us, but they are still a PART of us.  They try to tell us something about what we want.  We all have a need to know what we are feelings and be there for our feelings.  That means ALLOWING OURSELVES TO FEEL HOW WE FEEL.  Our feelings show us the way.

THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN LOW SELF-ESTEEM.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU for feeling how you feel.  You have EVERY right to feel how you feel.  Speak your emotions out loud if you have to.  Speak it to a trusted friend.  Use statements like:

“I was hurt when _____________________________________.

We are not robots, we are all star stuff, made to shine.  Why be silent?  Why just be a slave to obligation?  Dare to be expressive.  We must face our darkness within us with a positive attitude until it is transformed into light.

We must be present with our negative emotions, without judging ourselves for having them.  We do not have to ignore them and keep them buried deep within ourselves, neither do we have to act on them, but let them spill out at its convenience.  Be present with them.  Attacking others just escalates the problems.  But communication and expression with someone we trust is a great way to feel relief.

We suffered low self-esteem growing up because often our emotions were invalided.

This is a form of emotional abuse.  Our parents may have not been there for us when we were unhappy.  Maybe they fought in front of us.  Maybe they used fear to get what they wanted us to do.  The hurt child inside us will not heal unless we are present with it and remind it we are still there for it.

Anything we resist, persists.  This is a demonstration of the law of attraction.  If you’re worried about getting into a fight with a parent or spouse and you’re desperately trying to avoid it, do not be surprised when conflict just spills out!  Because that’s what you’re focused on!  Invite arguments — it can actually make you stronger.  But don’t play victim, don’t attack, and don’t suppress your emotions.  EXPRESS YOUR FEELINGS — you don’t have to bring the other person down.  It doesn’t make you the weaker one.

It might feel awkward sharing your feelings with the other person, but that’s not your fault. We live in a society that has made an enemy out of expression.

Resisting is not always a physical action, it’s a mental and emotional, internal choice we make.  Trying to RUN away from a negative thought will NOT help us to attract true joy in our lives.  This is like babying ourselves to only eat lollipops when we are supposed to also eat our green veggies!

FACE your negative thoughts.  Face your negative emotions.  Sit with them.  But don’t let your negative emotions convince you that you are negative.  Don’t believe the negative thoughts to be true.  Think of your darkness as the child within crying out for help.  They are here to make you stronger.  They are here to point to your overall need of self-esteem.  When you have a negative thought, your self-esteem is threatened.  When you feel fear as a result, that’s a sign from your soul, that it is time to ALTER a negative core belief that you have picked up about yourself throughout the course of your life.  That means looking for proof that dispels the core belief or replacing it with another belief like “Actually I am lovable because I was told I did a great job the other day”  or  “I am wonderful.  I helped this person heal.”   Your soul always wants you to feel good about yourself.  Your spirit thrives and is joyous and fulfilled when you align with your soul.  Don’t drain your spirit — let it be milked and nourished by the soul.

So, this law of attraction is really about being true to the soul.  It’s more than just “thoughts cause feelings” and “feelings cause thoughts.”  It’s fundamentally about core beliefs we have not addressed.  And they are always running around in our subconscious 24/7.

We can think positive thoughts all day long and repeat affirmations all day long, but if we have a core belief somewhere in the back of are minds that “We are not enough,” and “my feelings do not matter” then this will be an obstacle for us — it’s a contradiction to the statement —“I am wonderful.”  Repeated subconscious beliefs rule us throughout our day- governing our self-esteem and lives.  True Joy is self-love.  When we do an action like beat someone up because we are angry, or punch the wall with our fists, that is not self-loving.  Why?  Because it indicates we have a core-belief that we are powerless and we falsely believe that the only way to feel a sense of power is to use our physical bodies instead of summoning power from within ourselves.

So what is stopping you from living your best life and attracting the most joy and satisfaction?  Somewhere down the line, you have a core belief that is detrimental to your sense of self.

No matter what any of the religious scriptures say or do not say or partially say or leave out, we know our awareness is in our own bodies.  We have a choice to believe the beliefs about ourselves that cause us pain, and we have the choice to not believe it.  Our minds may remember negative events.  But we do not have to believe anything anyone tells us.  We all come to this world, and we all die.  But what we believe about ourselves is bigger than even our mental perceptions about life.

For example, I could watch a scary movie or ride a scary roller coaster, and although it may look like I am in danger to my physical senses, my belief tells me I am not in danger.  It is just a ride.  It helps to look at life like that — just a ride.  Although we may believe it is real, at least we can choose not to believe the external world is an accurate reflection of who we really are.  It’s not.  The external world is only a partial mirror.  It’s not the full reflection.  Just because life might be bad around you, doesn’t mean you are bad.  What you get in life is a portrayal of your thoughts and feelings.  It’s only a fraction of the magnificence that lies within your soul.  Your physical self is nothing compared to the beauty of your soul.  When we realize wonderful our souls are, we feel good about ourselves.  Our souls are so expressive and so patient.  It always gives us a chance to connect with it and know it.  And when we finally do know it, we can’t help but love ourselves.

That’s why true knowledge is internal knowledge.  True Love is Knowing The Soul, the core of the true self.

The voice of the soul is peace.  It peacefully sends us all of our emotions at all times, effortlessly.  Even though we feel dramatic and hurt and our spirits feel drained, our soul is always at peace.  The problem is we interpret the dark feelings our souls sends us as “bad,” when really they are an emotional guidance system to let us know we have a core belief that is detrimental to our self-worth.  We all long to love ourselves.  We are meant to love ourselves.  And we deserve to love ourselves, eventually, anyway.  Peace is quiet, yet it speaks the loudest in our minds about who we really are and what we really want.

At their most basic purpose, thoughts are how you creatively express your individuality.  Nurture your thoughts and take intense care after what you feed to your mentality.  Be mindful of what you mentally create as it has a majority of the effect in what you intend and create within your reality.

 

You form about 60,000 thoughts every single day and about 95% of those thoughts get exactly recreated the following day.  That 95%, as you could have guessed, is subconsciously created.  Make sure that those thoughts are what you consciously intend to create within your reality.

If you are unsure how powerful your thoughts and intentions really are, then let me explain to you the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto.  He gathered distilled water and blessed the specimens with a simple thought or intention as well as labeled others with words such as love or gratitude.  He froze the droplet samples and then placed them under a microscope to astonishingly find beautiful crystals react and reflect the initial thought or intention.  The crystals bore symmetrical and hexagonal snowflakes that all remained unique to one another.  It is interesting to think if this is how thoughts affected water, suppose how powerful they could affect you.

ANDREA SCHULMAN: “When Everything Changes”

If you are consciously working at raising your vibration, it’s important to get used to change. In my experience, when we work to ascend into a higher state we’ll find that change is very, very common. In fact, sometimes EVERYTHING changes!

What kind of changes, you may ask? Well, careers, relationships, homes, towns, health, interests, hobbies, languages, whatever!

See, if you are anything like me, then everything changed when you learned about the Law of Attraction and the importance of raising your vibration. Suddenly, you understood that you had a tremendous amount of creative power, and you started to direct that power in a more positive way.

Then, what used to “work” for you, just is no longer a match to the “new” you. You’re just no longer able to hang out in the same place you used to, because you are no longer energetically compatible.

For example, if you suddenly come into the vibration of abundance, living in poverty just doesn’t work anymore. Suddenly, you find yourself moving into a place that better represents you abundance around more and more abundant people and able to do things that you never used to dream of. Sometimes this happens intentionally, but others you are literally forced into the more abundant reality.

Or, if you eliminate gossip and drama from your life, some people are either going to drop out of your life or they will change to become more positively oriented to match you. You simply can’t keep up a relationship built on negativity if you are no longer negative.

The longer I am on this journey, the more changes keep coming. This is a good thing, so if you are in a situation where things are changing rapidly-well done! There’s no greater sign of a shifting alignment than shifting changes in your life.

Stick with it! Embrace the changes, and more good ones will come your way.

Everything goes wrong, no matter how hard you try. It seems like when something good comes your way, it disappears as fast as it says “hi”!  Why do all good things happen to others but not you? Why can’t you find inner peace or why is it that others can achieve what they want and you seem to be going backwards?

The sad truth of it all is… It is because you are the source of it. Your negative energy is blocking you reaching higher places spiritually and physically. And until you learn how to manipulate and transform this negative energy and bring balance to your life, unfortunately you will attract what you give out. But it is not hard to achieve. With just a little patience and persistence, in 15 easy ways, you can learn how to do it.

  1. Make changes in your home and work space

This can be as simple as changing the way you organize your living room like moving furniture around, getting rid of things you don’t need and maybe sometimes adding a few things to your home decor. At work, reorganizing your desk might help. A nice smelling candle, a little flower, some incense… But also do not forget about yourself. Maybe changing your hairstyle, or buying a few new clothes… all these things can lift your mood up.

  1. Go on a vacation

Vacations are good opportunities for changes and rejuvenation. Seeing new places, experiencing new things, meeting new people. All of these things will bring positivity to your life and pull you out of your daily routine. With that new load of energy, you will see it will be easier to give your life a new perspective. Especially if you can keep this energy going with the support of meditation and positive affirmations.

  1. Switch the radio station

You are a radio. And inside you there are many channels and frequencies. A lot of stations. Start moving those knobs (talking old-fashioned radios here) and find a good station. Are you stuck on a spot where all you can hear is a never-ending hissing sound that gets on your nerves? Yes, this is where you are now, so move the knobs and find yourself a suitable frequency and enjoy what you are listening to. This is your new inner voice.

  1. Sometimes you can not change everything

And maybe you should not try to change everything either. Sometimes all you need to do is relax and just take things as they come and go with the flow. It does not mean you are surrendering yourself, on the contrary, it means that you are acknowledging the events around you whether they are good or bad. And instead of letting them overpowering you and upsetting you, you notice their presence and you choose to not let them bring you down or stop you.

  1. Take notes

Everything is clearer in your head when you put them out in writing. Writing is a great way of relief even if you are not a fan of writing.  We are not telling you to write long stories of fiction etc. No, just take little notes every day of the things that you see bring you negativity and slowly work on putting these obstacles aside and clearing your path.

  1. Be with positive people

Just like you affect people and things around you with your negative energy, positive people carry an optimistic, healing and guiding energy with them. They are in general balanced people and know how not to let things bring them down and manipulate the bad vibes by putting out good vibes out. Being around them will help you in that sense and you can learn a lot from their wisdom. Listen to them and observe how they react during stressful situations.

  1. Spend more time in nature

Nature is relaxing. A nice picnic at a park, a walk on the beach, hiking if you like that, or running, walking… camping somewhere… Explore nature, listen to the sound of the wind, leaves, trees, breathe in fresh air… Let the good thoughts in and exhale the bad thoughts out. Enjoy moments of quietness. Silence often tells us more than we can hear when we are in a crowded place.

  1. Accept things as they are so you can move on

Everything happens for a reason. There are no coincidences in life. Everything crosses our path to give us signs or teach us a lesson. When we learn to look at things this way, we will be training our brains to approach things from a different angle. And this won’t be a self-destructive approach, instead, it will help us grow spiritually and bring us closer to our Higher Self.

  1. Forgive others and forgive yourself

One more step towards peace of mind. Forgiveness is a great virtue. By accepting we are all equal human beings and we can all make mistakes because we are not perfect will give us the freedom we need to reach peace. Freedom from feeling like a victim, freedom from regrets, freedom from holding grudges, freedom from anger… Forgiving does not mean forgetting. Forgiving is acknowledging the experience, learning from it, making peace with it and finally moving on.

  1. Don’t get stuck in the past

Guilt, regrets, anger, resentments, sadness, and many other emotions keep us in the past as we try to take a step forward. They hold us from one foot and pull us back in time and make us feel immobilized, heavy-hearted and blocked. We would feel confused and wouldn’t know how to deal with present in order to prepare a better future for ourselves. So every time you find yourself stuck in the past, thinking of something or someone who brings out bad or sad feelings, do a simple breathing exercise. First, exhale a slow and deep breath and just feel your chest and stomach go down. And as you exhale, label this moment as the moment of acknowledgement of that certain feeling. And tell yourself when you inhale, you will bring this knowledge in with you and turn it into something positive. Repeat this exercise until you feel fully relaxed.

  1. Exercise

Exercising helps us release stress and anxiety by increasing the levels of endorphin hormones. When we do it regularly, our bodies adjust to the new hormone levels and we naturally start feeling better physically and mentally. Physical activities also increase our self-esteem. We feel better because we know we are doing something good for our health. Each time we feel good after an exercise, our self-confidence repairs itself more and more. Which in turn promotes self-respect. All things necessary to feel more positive and feel stronger to change the bad energy we feel inside into something positive and fruitful.

  1. Spend more time taking care of yourself

When was the last time you had lunch with yourself? Seriously! Or when was the last time you decided “I will go out and do this today, because I have been wanting this for so long”? Reward yourself, give yourself little gifts here and there. That movie you wanted to see so bad, go see it alone, you don’t have to do it with someone else, unless you absolutely want to. Buy yourself something. Join a hobby class somewhere. Maybe you want to learn a new language? Or go to a spa. Start taking yoga lessons maybe? It all depends on what really interests you and gives you satisfaction.

13, Take responsibility for your actions

It is easy to get mad at others and judge them for what they do. Oftentimes, we forget they are humans just like we are and they do have their weaknesses just like we do. For some reason, it is more acceptable for us when we make mistakes or when we mistreat someone, we have a list of excuses and reasons ready, but we can’t that easily extend that understanding to someone else. Understand and accept that your actions affect other people just like other people’s actions affect yours. You can not do anything about them taking responsibility about their actions but you can do something about yours. Do not let your ego overpower you. Then you will get stuck in the past again. If you need to apologize, then do so. If you need time to sit down and talk to someone after a certain event, then give that time to yourself. But once you are ready, let it out and apologize when you realize you need to.

  1. Do not let negative people overpower you

Just like positive people can uplift you, negative people can suck up your energy especially if you are an empath and do not know how to close yourself up when you face a negative situation in order to protect yourself. Learn when to distance yourself from these people so you can protect your inner balance.

15, Focus on what is good for you

Mindfulness meditation helps you classify your thoughts and organize them. By doing so you will be able to see what is good for you and what is holding you back. Try mindfulness meditation about 10 minutes a day, every morning before you start your day. Declutter your mind. Choose the path that will help you in your spiritual growth and don’t look back.
