CONSCIOUS REMINDER: “If Your Body Is Showing These Warning Signs, You Might Be Retaining Negative Energy”

Negative energy is everywhere around us, such as in people, nursing homes, cars, buildings, airports, . Sensitive people will feel it more.

10 Warning Signs Your Body Is Retaining Negative Energy:

Headaches.

A lot of us get dull headaches when we are confronted with some negative energy. The reasons and causes of headaches may be various, but when we are not able to explain it or deal with something weighing on us, negative energies can probably be the cause.

Tension and restlessness.

Negative energies in our bodies manifest as tension. Our mind is full of negative thoughts, so we feel angry and sad. We also feel restless. However, if we take proper care of ourselves, it may help us a lot in getting rid of negativities and move ourselves in positive directions.

Stomach pain.

This is another probable sign that negative energy is present in our body or also our environment. Stomach aches are a milder sign of dealing with negativity. We can feel stressed about a particular situation or hold tension in our belly. Stomach aches can tell us a lot more than only telling us we have caught some stomach virus or the food we have eaten was terrible.

Feeling physically recoiled.

A lot of us may sometimes feel physically recoiled from some negative energy. In fact, this experience or symptom is the one which we will notice when we confront with negative energies in someone else, or another thing and place.

Adrenal fatigue.

Our adrenal glands are helping us respond to anxiety and stress; however, dealing with great amounts of negative energies in our body and our environment, the adrenal glands may get overtaxed. When we are tired, unable to sleep or to stay asleep, overwhelmed, achy and frazzled, we may pay closer attention as all these are signs of dealing with so-called adrenal fatigue.

Difficulties in breathing.

This may be a sign that something is not good when it comes to the energy in our body. We hold grief in our lungs, so when we feel grief, the emotion stays hold in our lungs. This means that when there is grief in our lungs, we may have a hard time to breathe as we are overwhelmed by the emotion.

Chronic pain.

Negativities can even manifest themselves in the form of chronic pain. So, negative energy can cause constriction and tension in our muscles. The constant stress will take its toll on our body, leading to physical pain and fatigue.

Depression symptoms.

Depression can be another condition negative energies manifest themselves in. Depression can make it hard for us to feel more positive as to how this condition works. It is not a surprise that depression is able to cause negative energies to enter our body, which is quite profoundly embedded in our daily experiences.

Feeling a little bit ‘off.’

When we feel that we are ‘off,’ we might have to think crucially and self-reflect about what happens in our life or what the cause of feeling that way is. While we look to fix huge problems, we miss the small problems that are building over time, every day. Negative energies can affect our health and bump into our relationships.

Dealing with exhaustion or confusion.

This is another physical sign that we deal with negative or also called vampire energy. When we talk with other people, they may make us feel upset, tired, confused, sick, nauseous, or everything else which is negative. That’s why we have to clear negative energies and keep going.

CONSCIOUS REMINDER: “You Need To Stop Absorbing Other People’s Negative Energy, And This Is How To Do It”

Empathy is the ability to recognize and feel other peoples emotions. Sympathy is feeling compassion for other people.

Often times to be an “empath” means that you are absorbing much of the pain and suffering in your environment, which can sacrifice your ability to function at a high level.

5 Ways To Stop Absorbing Negative Energy

If you have ever been in a room with a negative person, you know just how toxic their energy can be. Learning to stop absorbing negative energy from others is such a great spiritual skill to have. Here are five ways to stop absorbing negative energy:

1. Remember, you can’t please everyone.

If someone is bullying you, complaining about you, or dissing you, do not make it your mission to try to convince that person to like you. This will only suck you deeper into that energy field and will make you energetically dependent on their opinion of you.

Not everyone is going to like you. Everyone on earth is living here for a different purpose. By loving yourself first, you will create a forcefield around other peoples opinions that will protect you from being so drained by their opinions.

Also remember, you can’t change everyone. Don’t make it your mission to fix them in that moment either. Sometimes, the best thing you can do is not try to change them but to just not feed the energy that they are projecting at you.

2. Be careful who you invite into your life.

Your body, mind and direct environment is your temple. Who are you inviting in? Is it an open invitation? Do people even have to wipe their feet clean before walking around or is it ok if they drag mud onto your soul? In Brazil there is a slang word called folgado. The direct meaning is “loose” or “lazy” but it really means “freeloader”. There is not exact english equivalent though because it is a mentality even more than a lifestyle.

If you give a person a piece of bread one day, they will be asking for the loaf the next. If you let someone stay for a weekend, they will then try to stay the week (or two!). I once thought my wife was cold and mean spirited towards some of our neighbors. Once I realized she was merely respecting herself and her home, I valued her direction and adopted it as my own.

It is great to be generous but there is a fine line to work with so you are not being trampled on, thus disabling you from helping those who truly need it. Learn to say “no” and to be OK with that.

3. Stop paying attention.

A parasite needs a host to survive. When you pay attention to somebody else, you are giving them energy. Whatever you focus on grows and energy vampires will steal your thoughts – decreasing your energy levels. Some people will dump their energy onto you and then drive on to the next pit stop. A friendly ear can be a wonderful thing but there is, again, a line that does not need to be crossed.

Perhaps you’ve found yourself being the source for a person to relay their frustrations at work, a relationship or even successful accomplishments. All of these emotions can drain you in various ways and cause you to measure your own life in ways that are not productive.

Love yourself enough to tune them out, tell them to stop, or tell them you can’t handle it right now. It’s not mean of you to reject their toxic energy.

4. Breathe in nature.

Go into nature, meditate, relax and breathe. Purify the water within yourself, exercise and float easy. Like a butterfly, float gently but move fast. Breathing increases the bloodflow circulation around the body and will help prevent to absorb energy from those around you. Walk with confidence, keep your head up and don’t allow anyone to make you feel inferior. A caterpillar eats everything around it and becomes fat, immobile. It must first become light in order to fly.

5. Take 100% responsibility for your thoughts and emotions.

How you feel is 100% your own responsibility. The universe is sending people into your life to test us. The perception we have of ourselves is greater than the perception others have of us. You are not a victim, nobody has power over you. Consider how your thoughts or expectations may have manifested the situation that is bothering you. What if the answer lies within your level of patience, irritability, or compassion? Unless we take the time to look, we subconsciously affirm our own victimization to the world around us.

Once you hold yourself accountable and responsible for the way you choose to respond to something, you connect with yourself on a deeper level. When you are connected to yourself on a deeper level, you don’t get knocked off your center as easily.

Place yourself in situations that boost your own energies. Does this person make you feel good? Do you make that person feel good? You are worthy of a brilliant experience and it is time to realize that fact. Learning to protect yourself against other people’s energies starts with self-love. Remember that you are worth of happiness and peace, it’s OK to say no. and you are the author of your own energetic state.

MATEO SOL: “5 Things Every Sensitive Man Should Know”

If you have grown up as a male in our society you’ve been taught one very clear message: emotions are a weakness, big boys don’t cry.

Being “strong” means you have to be forceful, aggressive, competitive and largely unemotional. If for some reason you are born sensitive, cooperative and compassionate, you are perceived as “weak,” “effeminate” or “weird.”

Throughout history, men have gained their identity, peer respect and self-worth through status, sexual prowess and money all of which contributed to their sense of power. In a physically demanding hunter-gatherer and agricultural world, men had to be the warriors that shouldered the responsibility of providing for their families. But now as women have become more independent with our society shifting to value mental labor over physical labor, men are struggling to let go of their old warrior habits and role dynamics.

However, regardless of our external bodies and sexual orientations, we all carry differing degrees of masculine and feminine energy. Some people will carry equal amounts, others will carry more of one than of the other (which might oppose their physical bodies), as can be seen in females referred to as “tomboys” and sensitive men.

It saddens me to see so many fellow men who outright ignore their sensitivity, or are aware of it but choose to reject or hide it. Many people associate sensitivity with neuroticism or low self-esteem, and courage with “numbing the pain.”

Sensitivity and courage are not mutually exclusive. To be sensitive is to be aware of the feelings and perspectives of other people as well as your own. To be courageous means to be completely aware and to feel fear yet to still fight for what you feel is right or what you want.

In fact sensitivity and courage can compliment each other; the greater your sensitivity and fear is, the greater your courage has to be to fight through it.

In psychology, Carl Jung was aware of the differences between masculine and feminine energy, and divided them into his Anima and Animus Archetypes. Personally, I’ve found that by embracing my sensitivity as a male and using it alongside my logic and courage, I have become a much wholer human being. In the end, to be intelligent is useless unless you can combine it with sensitivity. When intelligence is filtered through sensitivity, it becomes wisdom.

5 Things Every Sensitive Man Should Know

Here are some vital lessons I’ve learned as a sensitive man that I want to pass on:

1. Sensitivity Helps You to Grow Deeper Connections

When a man is capable of transforming his insecurity about being sensitive into something empowering, it can allow him to create deeper connections with others. For instance, I’ve found that when I go beyond simply sharing factual information and opinions with my male friends, I see a whole new side to them which is more meaningful and creates a deeper long-term bond.

2. Sensitivity Encourages Emotional Maturity

I feel that the evolution of men will be one towards a balance of strength and sensitivity. One of the biggest struggles for men in relationships is to openly express their emotions or show vulnerability. This emotional distancing is done to display “strength,” but quite often the more sensitive female lover perceives this as ambivalence, being “unavailable” or even a phobia towards commitment. To be able to give love, show love and receive love freely is incredibly attractive.

3. Sensitivity Makes You More Body-Conscious

Sensual awareness is not limited to sex (although it does make you a better lover), but rather, it extends to the body as well. The greater your sensitivity is to your body and its senses, the more you’ll learn about yourself, the better you’ll be able to take care of yourself, and the healthier you’ll feel. However, I’ve observed that often many sensitive male students of mine have tried to drown their emotions out with food as an unconscious buffer.

As a sensitive man, I’ve discovered a variety of foods that I can feel my body quickly rejects by making me feel subtly ill. I’ve also learned that having long hair not only allows me to express my Anima externally, but it also serves as an extension of my nervous system amplifying my empathic senses. It’s no surprise that the Incas, Mayas, the Samurai and the Native Americans were aware of this (the latter using their hair almost like “antennae.”)

4. Sensitivity Allows You to Become More Creative

Creativity is not the result of logical empirical deduction, it is the child of playfulness and sensitivity. Creativity is born in the right side of the brain instead of the left.

To be a painter, writer, musician, actor, photographer or anything creative requires a sensitivity towards beauty and emotion.

5. Sensitivity Helps You to Grow Spiritually

A thirst for wisdom and truth can only come to those who possess a spiritual sensitivity. To strive toward a better society and the peace of man demands an immense amount of courage to stand up against the status quo and a great spiritual sensitivity to question it.

Jesus, Buddha, the Dalai Lama, Mahatma Gandhi, and Martin Luther King Jr. were all figures who possessed this quality to speak the truth and question cultural morality, virtue and justice. Many people who have embraced their sensitivity will know that they are often the ones whom their friends come to, to ask for counsel and advice.

How to Embrace Your Sensitivity

In our society men are rarely taught how to express their feelings, and so it can be very difficult to know where or how to begin. In fact, if you are like most men, you’ll find it difficult to even become aware of what you’re feeling in the first place, e.g. how the mood of your boss may be affecting you, or how the stress from your busy schedule is making you short-tempered. And when someone asks how you are, you are so disconnected from your emotions that you’ll resort to the habitual “I’m fine,” making it harder for anyone to provide any support.

Ignoring feelings won’t making them disappear though, in fact, the more we ignore our feelings the larger they’ll grow. I’ve often seen men who appear to be well and calm before they burst out in an explosion of anger or rage when something bad happens. It’s often these very same men who become isolated and depressed due to their tendency to avoid and limit their social contact to avoid emotional vulnerability.

How do we embrace our sensitivity? Recognizing and accepting ourselves as sensitive men is the first step. No matter what “macho” ideals you’ve been taught, sensitivity is a gift, not a weakness. To be more empathetic and to be able to appreciate art, music and beauty, is a blessing. While burying our feelings is certainly easier, acknowledging our feelings helps us to empower ourselves which requires much more courage, and is a lot more rewarding. Can you imagine how many wars and ecological forms of destruction could have been avoided if we all cultivated greater sensitivity?

The next step is to examine your feelings about sensitivity. Is it a “weakness” or some kind of illness to you? You’ll have to change the core beliefs you hold about masculine sensitivity in order to accept it. Only after this can you integrate aspects of your sensitivity into your daily life. You can do this by changing your old habits of ignoring or hiding your sensitivity and instead decide to slowly process through them, expressing them to yourself and your trusted loved ones.

It takes time and effort, but changing our personal paradigms is essential in order to embrace our own sense of personal power. It’s time to change this outdated male ideal of aggressiveness, thick-skin and emotional retardation. By empowering sensitive men with self-confidence, we’ll all contribute to a more peaceful, balanced and healthy planet.

Once you become aware of your feelings and have learned to express them, you’ll begin drawing loving people into your life, you’ll be able to help others through their own problems, and you’ll be able to feel as though every part of you is living life to the fullest.

SPIRITUAL UNITE: “Are You A Highly Sensitive Psychic?”

psycic-2

What is a highly sensitive psychic you may ask?  They are someone who is very sensitive to any environment, to them the energy they feel is heightened but there is more to it than that.  If you are a highly sensitive psychic then you pick up more information than anyone else and you are more aware of what’s going on around you.

A highly sensitive person gets overloaded by too much stimulation, you could be susceptible to the environmental toxins and pollutions.

As a highly sensitive psychic, it’s paramount to become aware of what’s happening and learning to manage it.  As the world is getting more crowded, everyone is trying to get somewhere very fast, and you have to make choices which are healthy for you even if your friends and family don’t understand.

Extrasensory Perception

As a sensitive psychic you have psychic abilities or even healing abilities although you don’t recognise it yet.  You should know that people with psychic and healing abilities are commonly known as sensitives.  People with psychic abilities pick up more information than others.  Also, people with psychic abilities have extrasensory perception.

Those with extrasensory perception tend to receive more information beyond the five senses.  Other than just feeling things touch them, they can also feel other emotions.  As well as feeling things, they may also see energy and auras.  They can also hear psychic communication that can’t be heard by the ear.

When Your Psychic Abilities Are Underdeveloped

In a modern world psychic abilities tend to be a new age fad, so we are never taught about this highly intuitive ability, in fact, it may be frowned upon by some people, but most of us have psychic abilities, but we don’t even know it.  You may experience the sensations in your mind’s eye, but you tend to shut it down because you don’t understand the process.

If you were to be aware of the extrasensory gift, you would probably not allow it to register.  However, if you did allow information to enter your consciousness, you would probably question your sanity, and so you shut it down.  Psychic abilities are never gone but stay dormant and undeveloped within you.

Many Different Ways Of Being Psychic

There are many misconceptions out there.  People think a highly sensitive psychic can only see the future, seeing the future is just one of their ability.  There are many other abilities like being aware of energy, seeing auras, feeling other people’s emotions, communicating with spirit and even interpreting dreams are all psychic abilities.

Another misconception is that you’re either psychic or not.  Psychic abilities stay dormant within you, and you just have to train yourself to use your abilities, it’s a bit like learning to sing, if you train yourself every day, you get better the more you practice.

The Many Problems Of Being A Highly Sensitive Psychic

There are many challenges of being a sensitive psychic and they all have a connection with your physical body.  The psychic energy can cause many physical symptoms including headaches, fatigue, back problems, stomach problems or even long-term serious diseases.

As a sensitive psychic you can absorb other people’s energy, which can cause a lot of challenges.  You may start feeling emotional, but these emotions are not yours.  You might feel tired without knowing why.  In crowded places you may get overloaded with energy and this will become unbearable for you.  It’s imperative to know how to respond effectively and manage the situation.

As a highly sensitive psychic it’s crucial to become aware of these situations, so you can learn to manage them better.  When you have a better understanding of who you are and your abilities, then you can make choices that are healing for you.  Rather than feeling like you have lost your sanity, you can begin to realise you are different and be more open to your psychic abilities.

ANDREA SCHULMAN: “Are You Energy Sensitive? 6 Telling Signs”

Are you energy sensitive? Here are some powerful practices to overcome the feeling of "I'm delusional"

As you’ve probably noticed before, there is a range in our sensory abilities.  Some people can see very well, others not very well at all.  Some have excellent hearing, while others are deaf.  The same applies to energy sensitivity, or as they call it, your “sixth sense.”   Are you energy sensitive?

When you break down reality, everything is made up of one thing, and that is vibrational energy.  Some people are very aware of the energy that surrounds them, and they can tell when energy is high and when it is low.  They easily sense “good” and “bad” vibes.  Other people, not so much.

As I am energy sensitive and work with other energy sensitive people, here are a few signs I see time and again.  Not all energy sensitive folks will carry each of these traits, but if you carry a few of them, you are probably quite sensitive to vibrational energy.

1. Deep empathy for others:

You can often spot the most energy sensitive person in the room when there is someone around who is hurt or upset.  Energy sensitive people are often the “first responders,” there to hold a hand, give a hug or lend a listening ear.  Energy sensitive people often feel other people’s emotions (and sometimes their physical pain too), and so they easily understand and empathize with people who are suffering.

2. Emotional rollercoasters:

Having a keen sense of vibrational energy often means that the high times feel very high but the low times feel very low.  Having some plans in place to help you raise your vibration can be very helpful,  especially during low times!

3. Addictions:

Being energy sensitive means you “feel” a lot more than many people.  To avoid feeling low vibrational energy, these individuals may lean on substances like drugs or alcohol in order to numb out the pain of negative sensory input.  They may also have a proclivity for other types of addictions, like food, gambling or shopping.

4. Being an excellent judge of character:

Energy sensitive people are often very aware of other people’s motivations, and many times they can “just tell when” someone is bad news.  This can be a very beneficial trait, as it makes one less likely to be conned or taken advantage of.

5. Possible introversion:

Not all sensitive folks are introverts, but many often are.  It can be overwhelming to take on the emotions and feelings of other people, and so often energy sensitive people withdraw and seek alone time in order to stabilize. They are often likely to feel drained after prolonged social interactions.

6. Receiving signs:

People who are sensitive to energy are much more likely to be aware of the signs the universe is sending to them.  They are more likely to find meaning in events and circumstances that most other people see as simply “coincidental.”

As you can see, being energy sensitive is a bit of a double-edged sword.  Being attuned to vibrational energy allows one to have a deeper understanding of the universe, but it also can lead to a degree of overstimulation, and this can cause a variety of problems if left unaddressed.

If you think you may be energy sensitive, there are a number of things you can do harness the power of your gifts and cope with the struggles of sensitivity.

First and foremost, anything that can help you intentionally raise your vibration or the vibration of your environment can be highly beneficial.  I personally recommend daily meditation or yoga for mental (and physical) training.  Saging your home and workspace regularly is also recommended.

Be mindful of the people you surround yourself with, and allow yourself to step away from toxic people, events and circumstances when you are feeling overwhelmed.  It is also very important to work toward self-acceptance, and learn how to love yourself and your gifts.

Being born into this world as an energy sensitive person comes with a unique set of responsibilities.  The constant influx of energy from one’s environment can be a overwhelming and painful at times.

However, when one learns how to manage this gift, great things can happen.  Reading energy and being able to empathize with others can be a tremendous asset.  Energy sensitive folks are well-equipped to evoke positive change in the world, and have the capacity to be some of the world’s greatest leaders, healers and teachers.

So, do you think you are energy sensitive?

Thanks for reading,

Andrea
