BARBARA BUCK: “Hiding The Wounded Healer”

Suffering can appear in our lives with little warning. It startles us out of complacency. One day we are swimming with the tide, just breezing through life, then wham! Disease and discord hit us when we aren’t looking. Suddenly our nice dip in the ocean becomes a terrifying race from the sharks that we had no idea were right below the surface.

Hardship in whatever form it manifests, can cause us to lose faith that life is on our side. It can render us incapable of trusting the ebb and flow of reality as we understand it.

When I was diagnosed with a chronic disease, I was utterly blindsided. I am a healing practitioner, so in the beginning stages of being sick I had faith that I would be more than capable of handling the issue and moving on with my life. I had multiple tools to help me.

I did all the work, taking a mind/body/spirit approach to the disease, but instead of getting better, I got worse. I did everything that I knew how to do as a healing practitioner, but all my knowledge was useless in the face of my wretched suffering.

I stopped trusting the process and began to believe that I must have done something horribly wrong to deserve the physical and emotional trauma that I was experiencing.

To top it all off, I had a belief that no one would want to see a healer with a chronic disease. How could anyone put their faith in me to help them, if I couldn’t even heal myself? A sick healer is a paradox.

I spent a good deal of time stoically putting on my best game face while seeking help from other practitioners behind closed doors. Everyone that I knew had plenty of advice to give me, from why I got sick to what might help me get better.

Conventional medicine, naturopaths, homeopaths, nutritionists, spiritual counselors, acupuncturists, biofeedback therapists, energy healers of all different types; you name it, I tried it. I stopped trusting the healthcare industry to give me answers, but the worst part about it all is that I stopped trusting my ability to help myself.

Suffering makes us feel weak, and in that weakness we become vulnerable. It’s a terrifying experience to recognize that no matter what we’ve been taught to believe, there are some things we don’t have control over. Sometimes when we allow ourselves to step into our vulnerability, we can feel like victims, victims to our bodies, our thoughts, our creative process that’s gone awry, to God, to the Universe, to genetics.

I have vacillated back and forth between all of these things. I blamed my ancestors, the environment, but mostly I held myself accountable for this disease. I have a firmly held belief that I am a co-creator of my reality, so clearly I must have made this happen.

I played the self-blame game very well. I decided that I can’t be trusted to care for myself when I am in this open, susceptible state. The Universe can’t be trusted either because it certainly didn’t have my back and stop me from creating this horrible mistake.

It didn’t even give me fair warning.

When we are raw and wounded, the first thing we throw out of the window is usually trust. The most natural reaction to our loss of faith is to wrap ourselves in a protective shell because we are afraid of what might come next. The world no longer feels safe.

When we become ill, whether it’s emotionally, spiritually, or physically, we tend to try to keep the world at a comfortable distance. Instead of stepping into our vulnerability, we hide it under the guise of courage and dignity.

Society rewards stoicism with praise. If we see a cancer patient, we say “Isn’t she brave? She never complains about the pain she’s in. She just keeps fighting. It’s amazing!” Very rarely do we acknowledge it when someone courageously embraces their vulnerability by taking a step into the darkness of their condition and seeing what gifts lie within the murky depths.

When we voice our fears or expose our vulnerability, it can frighten our loved ones. It makes people uncomfortable when they can see our wounds. It makes them remember their mortality and their own ability to suffer.

We often respond to this behavior by hiding behind a courageous mask, when the truth is that it makes us feel guilt, anger, and shame.

It’s time for us as healers to take that mask off. It is impossible to heal if we don’t allow the shadows of our creation to surface for healing, or try to hide them. Ignoring them is no longer an option.

CONSCIOUS REMINDER: “7 Mysterious Ways Our Souls Communicate With Us”

Our souls are our gratitude. Our souls know what occurs in our hearts and understand what we truly seek in our lives. We can hide a lot of things from others, or even from ourselves, but we can’t hide such things from our souls.

Our souls try to establish communication with us and guide us. But, our souls speak through different means, and we have to be aware of those ways, in order to listen to our souls.

Here are the seven mysterious ways in which our souls communicate with us:

Synchronized events

In fact, there will be times when we are going to come across a few incidents which can appear random; but, when we connect the dots, we are going to see that these incidents are pointing to something different. These random events are going to add to only one event which we can realize later. Our souls will show us the bigger picture.

Repetition of letters or numbers

Numbers and letters are tools which we can use to communicate to communicate with each other. Our words are going to reveal everything we really want to say to other people. Our souls will use numbers, letters, and even words to communicate with us. Our souls often do this repeatedly. The repetition of these elements in our lives could indicate some kind of communication so that we have to open our eyes if we notice them constantly.

Gut feeling

Many people act on the basis of their instincts. Sometimes, we think about a specific thing, and we feel that our gut says something else. Our souls are connected with our true nature. Our souls understand our necessities, and know what bothers us or please us. Therefore, our souls speak out when we doubt something. We may think that it is a gut feeling, instinct, or vibe, but often, it will be our souls that are trying to communicate with us.

Visions

There will be times when our dreams are going to be the thing that is going to reveal what our souls want to say. Instead, our visions will be. This may appear in the form of a thought, premonition, or just a glimpse which we can easily ignore. We have to remember that visions and dreams are different things, as visions may happen during meditation, thinking, or when we are agitated. We need to be careful and pay attention to our visions.

The feeling of something odd or strange being present

Oftentimes, we are going to come face to face with the feeling of something wrong or odd being present, or we will feel like something is missing in our lives. We can’t even figure out such things instantly. But, this feeling was created by our souls in order to direct us towards something that we need in our lives. Our souls are going to speak out when they feel that they have to. We have to pay more attention so that we will always find the needed direction in our lives.

Anxiousness

Anxiousness is not always going to be fully psychological. It is not always going to appear as a result of stress and tension. There will be times when our anxiety is going to appear because of our souls warning us against something which was planning to do. They are going to warn us through negative feelings present inside us, and we are going to cancel our plans, in order to act better.

Animals

Our souls may speak to us through birds or some other animals, even though it is a true mystery of how they do that. For example, it may happen that we continuously see crows, which is going to make us feel strange about a particular situation. This may actually mean that our souls are trying to tell us that there will be impending problems on our ways; however, we can ignore the sign, only at our own risk.

CONSCIOUS REMINDER: “Dealing With Never-Ending Change”

There are a lot of things in life that we can avoid and do without but change is not of them. There will always be change, in some form or the other, sneaking up on us.

That being said let us be real for a second and really talk about change. Is it really easy to accept it and adapt to whatever change comes our way?

The answer would be a resounding no. Most people do not do well with change and that is normal. If you are one of those people, breathe and keep reading because I am here with a few ways that might help you cope with change and get on with your life.

Be nice to yourself

We are often pretty unforgiving when it comes to our own selves and consider ourselves to be incompetent when we struggle but when we see someone close to us going through the same stuff, we are sympathetic and kind to them.

What we need to do in these situations is be the same to our own selves. As a human with emotions and feelings, understand that you are allowed to suffer, be sad and not be okay.

Allow yourself that time to find your footing again and be nice to yourself. A little self love can go a long way.

Observe things and pay attention

Life passes by us pretty fast when we are not paying attention but that is not the best way to live. Look around yourself and be informed about what is happening.

This way you become a better balanced individuals and balance always comes in handy. Everything around you at any given moment is meant to be there at that exact moment — these things need your attention.

Start journaling

Writing a journal every day or as much as possible is effective in many ways. It grants you a look into your innermost complexities and thoughts and helps you understand them better.

When you journal every day, you will find that you feel lighter than usual because you have let out everything that you needed to let out.

Breathe and know that you can do anything. Love yourself.

MITCH GANNON: “Top 3 Ways To Tune And Change Your Frequency To Alter Your Reality”

Want to change your reality? You must tune into a different frequency to experience a new one. You can change it within seconds and by continuing to hold the frequency of what you desire your reality begins physically shift.

1. Imagination

Use your imagination to tune into the exact frequency of your desire. Imagination is a gift from God. Use it wisely. Most people are sloppy and unfocused in what they are thinking about. By becoming aware of what you are thinking you can then deliberately and purposely hold in your mind (imagination) exactly what you want to bring into your experience. By imagining any person, place, thing, experience, reality, etc., you have the unlimited freedom to undertake and assume the emotions, feelings, and vibrations of what you want your reality to be and contain. Keep returning and staying in the perceived imagined place to continue building up and increasing the strength of the frequency to change your reality.

2. Emotions and Feelings

Emotional states greatly impact vibration which in turn influences frequency. Bring about, through thoughts or your external observations, the feelings of the desired reality. Thoughts create your emotions and feelings. That is why forced effort and action are not required to elicit specific frequency bandwidths. You could sit and do nothing except think your way through thoughts to tune to your desired reality and experience it instantly. Frequencies are vibrational in nature which are translated and interpreted through our emotions, thoughts, and senses. That is why what you think about and imagine appears as though you are actually experiencing it now based on the feelings and emotions elicited. As a result, you are then automatically tuning to the frequency of the wanted reality because emotions and feelings impact frequency.

3. Meditation

Observing thoughts through an unattached way can be helpful in allowing you to tune to a precise frequency. By focusing on the breath or simply watching thoughts come and go you can release tension and focus on things undesired, which then allows for a cleared mind for refocusing in the direction of the desired frequency.

Enjoy creating your own reality. Afterall, planet Earth is just a hologram anyway. Meant for a sandbox of creation. What frequency are you choosing?
