Dear ES Family,

Over the last decade, with the steady amplification of polarities, the rising intensity of external energies and forces, the challenges that we may have to face that test our character, test our mettle, seem to have been greatly magnified. We have often spoken about the planetary Dark Night of the Soul, and by observing the outer world, its clear that its in full swing. Over the past year, I have prayed countless times for guidance on what is the best process for helping people that are enduring extreme challenges, and painful transitions, when they have not been educated with strong coping skills or given proper support towards knowing the absolute necessity of cultivating resilience. We live in a culture of mind control to shape weak characters, and habits that weaken our mind, body and energy field, so that we are easily overwhelmed by dominating forces and challenges. Life on earth is not easy, it is a tough school of knocks in which we can learn a tremendous amount, especially now.

To survive these challenges, we have to look at life on earth as lessons and learning, looking at painful or negative events as an opportunity to see something that we did not see before, or to change how we perceive the world around us. As we learn from our life experiences and we can observe more clearly, we gain more emotional intelligence and the ability to explore our true purpose. Why did you come to earth now? All of us have things to accomplish on earth during the ascension cycle, and these experiences are deeply personal, intimate and unique to who we are. No other person can define the spiritual purpose for another, this is our responsibility to find out. To gain an accurate assessment of the reality we find ourselves, we will need to know ourselves very deeply. We may need to take off the rose colored glasses of denial in order to to see the accurate truth inside things, or we may need to find the light that does exist in the darkness while it sleeps, finding faith, love and acceptance in the spirit of humanity. At the rate of change and transformation we are enduring resilience is an important skill to cultivate for mental and emotional wellbeing.

Stability, Resilience and Tough Times

People may have gathered many delusions in their belief system about what it means to be happy and to feel pleasure, which is instant gratification that is portrayed by the mainstream media and consumptive modeling to make us believe in such fantasies and crafted advertisements as if they are real stories. Instant gratification teaches us little, we cannot learn about ourselves and the world we live in, if we believe instant gratification and selfish desires are the meaning of life. This is a luciferian and satanic narrative to keep us weakened and trapped in material delusions and Service to Self ego games.

Learning how to deal with difficulty, being willing to really see the truth of the matter, is much more productive than clinging to an illusion. To feel content and connected, it is required that you learn how to be strong and self reliant, that you pick yourself up after a fall, and that you know how to refocus your mind away from emotional sadness when you don’t succeed or get your needs met. One of the most important skills we need today, is to live in peace with unmet desires and needs. Attachments make us suffer greatly, and as such we should have preferences and not attachment to the outcome. This does not mean you give up, it means you never give up and look at life as lessons that build character and strength, you keep moving forward the best way you know how to in the moment.

How can you find the inspiration to persist instead of getting depressed or angry when things go awry, and to accept that they often will. Much of the time, life on planet earth is about conflict resolution and learning how to synthesize energies in the world of extremes, to neutralize polarity and return to peace.

How do people deal with difficult events that completely transform and change their lives? The death of a loved one, loss of a job, serious illness, criminal attacks and other traumatic events. These are all examples of very challenging life experiences. Many people react to such difficult circumstances with a flood of strong emotions and a sense of uncertainty and fear, bringing on mental paralysis or anxiety.

What enables people to generally adapt well over time to life-changing situations and stressful conditions? Navigating life’s challenges requires life skills. To develop life skills, you have to live through your life, gaining experience, gaining wisdom from hard earned lessons. This process involves resilience, it is an ongoing process that requires time and effort and engages people in taking a number of steps. Developing resilience is a personal journey towards maturity whereby each person will have to choose different approaches in order to build personal resilience. Resilience is an important energy building tool, being resilient also helps to keep healthy boundaries that build a stronger energy field, or aura.

Building Resilience Principles

  • Connect to your higher purpose and meaning in life.
  • Maintain perspective, look for the larger picture.
  • Find ways to implement your unique talents and strengths.
  • Be realistically optimistic, seek truth for accurate assessments.
  • Generate postive feelings and gratitude for what you do have.
  • Be open minded and flexible in situations, be willing to persevere.
  • Reach out to like minded souls, find connection with others that understand.

Learning from the Past

Focusing on past experiences and sources of personal strength can help you learn about what strategies for building resilience might work for you. By exploring answers to the following questions about yourself and your reactions to challenging life events, you may discover how you can respond effectively to difficult situations in your life.

Consider the following:

  • What kinds of events have been most stressful for me?
  • How have those events typically affected me?
  • Have I found it helpful to think of important people in my life when I am distressed?
  • To whom have I reached out for support in working through a traumatic or stressful experience?
  • What have I learned about myself and my interactions with others during difficult times?
  • Has it been helpful for me to assist someone else going through a similar experience?
  • Have I been able to overcome obstacles, and if so, how?
  • What has helped make me feel more hopeful about the future?

Emotional Intelligence

To cultivate resilience we will also need to understand emotional intelligence. Over the years, I’ve noticed a theme that the older you are, it may be easier to gain emotional intelligence, some people are very emotionally competent and managing emotions is easy for them. While others have to work a lot harder to tame unruly emotions, and need a different approach to clear pain body impulses. The more experience you have in exploring and managing emotional states, the deeper you know yourself, the easier it is to have emotional intelligence. Younger folks seem to struggle with this more in the current tumultuous terrain.

Emotional intelligence (EI) is the ability to monitor one’s own emotional state and be able to observe other people’s emotions and to distinguish between different emotions and identify them appropriately. When emotional states are able to be observed and discerned for their quality, one may use this emotional sensory information to help guide thinking, behavior and actions. All humans experience some emotional state that help guide our actions in life.

As our Emotional Intelligence increases, one will experience a variety of positive transformations in one’s life. Destructive behavior patterns of the past may transform into more positive behavior as one begins to solve the mysterious puzzle of human interactions and gain a quiet and confident understanding of them. Anxiety may yield to more peaceful, tranquil, and contented feelings as ones deeper emotional understanding increases. One starts to gain improved self-confidence and feel empowered, and less confused and frustrated with circumstances. Overall, one can transform from confused to confident; from clueless to comprehending and enlightened, from fragmented to coherent, from shallow to deep, and from oppressed to liberated, as one learns how to become the authentic self.

We must remember that we are in a war over control over the mind, and limitations and pain we feel are also created in the mind, which means we have the power to remove and clear them from impacting us. Our goal is to build strength in our inner world via inner reflection and meditation, which is building the energetic strength of our energy field, while learning how to observe and remain neutral to what happens in the outer world. We change the locus of power, giving power to our inner spirit and inner world, while removing external influences form having power over us. This takes some time to master.

How do we get there? Building Resilience over time.

Thus, this blog is dedicated to inspirations and discussion on building resilience and finding what works as a strategy for you. The energies in the outer world can be tough, harsh, painful and surreal. That is a fact, and it is what it is. The truth is that this does not have to disturb your inner peace, connection and purpose. May we share more about the quality of resilience, knowing we are in this together, and we all have to do our own inner work.

CONSCIOUS REMINDER: “How To Cope With Spiritual Skeptics”

We all know how important spirituality is in our lives…

It is the deepest connection that a soul experiences and it is absolutely different from the connections we experience in this material world.  Spiritual connection nourishes the soul and makes the soul reach ultimate happiness and solace.

Needless to say, spiritual connection is required in order to lead a happy and fulfilling life.

But there are two problems that occur when we strive for a spiritual connection.  The first is that while yearning for a spiritual connection we may come across people who are not active in the spiritual domain.  The second is that you may come across spiritual pessimists who will try to affect you with their negative thoughts and views.

We will talk about these spiritual pessimists at length now.  They are the kind of people who aren’t happy with the fact that you are spiritually growing.  They feel inconvenient and hence they try to stop you from going further on your path.  They do this by creating negative energy around you.  Thus, they try to snatch your peace and comfort in order to make you feel miserable because they themselves are not happy with their own lives.

Here’s how you should deal with a spiritual pessimist:

1. They won’t understand, no matter what:

The thing is that people barely understand each other these days.  We live in a world where a serious communication breakdown is taking place.  So, firstly we should not be expecting everyone around us to understand us.

More so, never think that the spiritual pessimist will ever understand you.  This is also due to the fact that the path you have chosen for yourself cannot be understood by the spiritual pessimist.  They are still on a journey that is very, very disparate from yours.

2. Don’t justify your actions to them:

Never justify your actions to a spiritual pessimist.  This is because they have already formulated an opinion about you that is premised on their bias and prejudices.  The spiritual pessimist is so stubborn that no matter what you say to change the opinion that they have made about you, they are not going to change their opinion, not even a jot.

They will continue to think what they want to think about you and not a single action of yours can change that.  So, the better thing is to not waste your energy in justifying your actions.  Instead, walk on your path and don’t worry about them.

3. Meditation might help you:

Meditation will give you the much required peace and comfort.  It will also give you energy to fight with the negative energy of the spiritual pessimist.

Meditation will help you see things in a different perspective and this will make you happier than before.  This will also help you on your spiritual journey.  So, meditate if you can. If not, even a walk in nature might help you.

4. Have a conversation with your healer or spiritual partner:

Talk to your healer or your spiritual partner.  They must have gone through the same at some point of time in their journey.  They will surely have the solution to your problem.

Don’t let the spiritual pessimist affect your spiritual journey.  Focus on yourself and try to stay calm and composed around the naysayers.

CONSCIOUS REMINDER: “How To Keep Your Cosmic Magic In Check”

It is not easy being spiritual in a world which is so obsessed with hate and hurt. How is one supposed to keep their vibrations high when everyday so many things happen to make them feel frustrated and angry?

It can be a continuous struggle to try and be compassionate even on a daily basis. And that is just the natural state of things. What is one supposed to do on days when they are personally attacked? It is so tempting to be vengeful and angry.

And yet, you know better. You know that you shouldn’t let it all get to you. So how do you stop yourself from projecting your hurt onto others? How do you hold on to your compassion when everyday you get a million reasons not to?

Here are a few things which might help:

1. Make a resolution that you will not let mean people affect your power to love

People are mean and rude and many like to inflict hurt on others. But most of the times they are only acting out their own traumas. The reason they are being so hateful towards others is because they never had much love to talk about.

Are you willing to break that chain of hurt? Will you be able to love them, even when they are ready to tear you down? You never know, who might need your love the most.

2. Turn inward and create a sanctuary for yourself

The outside world will always be full of drama and hurt. You need to make yourself as an island which doesn’t get troubled by the choppy waters of hate. And in time you will be able to not get affected by any of it.

You know that your mission is to spread love in this world which needs it so desperately. So make a resolve to yourself that you will love, and be ready to show people the way no matter what they throw at you.

3. Teach others by your example

You know that your most important mission is to spread love. Each and every action that you do in support of this mission affects not just that person, but every other human who sees it. Your example can help a lot more people than you can personally.

So embody your beliefs. Even on days when it is hard for you to love others, chose to love yourself. Don’t judge yourself too harshly if you are not able to forgive someone. You will eventually if you don’t bring yourself down first.

4. Always be sincere to your own self

Always be open to yourself. Don’t try to hide from yourself in excuses and make beliefs. The first person you need to be honest to us yourself. Never ignore your feelings- good or bad. If you have been feeling inadequate don’t brush those feelings under the rag.

Talk about them to yourself. Confronting yourself is the only way to improving yourself. Accept that you will have good days and bad ones. Don’t let that affect your relationship with yourself.

5. Think how you can bring love in every situation

It is easy to love when people are nice to you. It is easy to love when you are calm and composed and in the sanctuary of your home. But it is not easy to love when you are stuck in traffic, the weather is too hot and someone is shouting at you to move your car when the traffic is at standstill.

It is in those moments that you need to bring love the most. It is natural to feel frustrated and angry, but make a conscious choice not to. That is how you can bring love in situations where there is none.

Are You Feeling Empathic Stress?

Are you feeling empathic stress, even when everything in your life is seemingly going well? You are not alone!

Empaths have the ability to sense emotional stress from anybody without any words being spoken.  During a period of time when many people are feeling stress from various factors , empaths seem to take the brunt of these factors and it will most likely manifest in physiological symptoms such as:

  • A feeling of being drained
  • Chest pains
  • A change in sleeping habits
  • Edginess
  • Flu-like symptoms
  • Stomach cramps
  • Headaches or migraines
  • Elevated blood pressure
  • Fatigue
  • Vivid or disturbing dreams
  • Physical weakness
  • Loss of appetite or food cravings
  • Unusual weight gain or loss
  • Hot or cold flashes
  • Decreased libido or a toxic buildup in your body,  perhaps from fluoride, chemtrails, aspartame, GMO’s, etc…

If you are an empath, how many of the following issues are you susceptible to?

  • Financial issues
  • Job related stress including changing jobs
  • Additional responsibilities at home or at work
  • Relationship issues at home or at work
  • A change in living conditions
  • Spousal or children issues
  • The recent death of a loved one
  • Changes in personal habits, social activities or religious beliefs
  • Recent illness
  • A change in eating habits
  • Making an important decision involving the near future or legal issues

How often do people, including complete strangers, come up to you for no other reason than to unload their issues on you?

Many empaths are picking up on the overall global morale involving the inevitable crash of the dollar/Euro, banking collapses, war, unemployment, housing issues, etc…

For example, as the political elite continue to spiral the world in unwanted and unwarranted armed conflict, a lot of people are sensing an eminent World War III scenario as the military buildup in the Middle East continues.

As empaths, we always try to focus on the positive things in life but sometimes, the overall global consciousness needs to be readjusted through the absorption of these energies.  While it may take a temporary toll on the empath, please keep in mind how you are contributing to the overall benefit of society and that these feelings will pass.

While you may not realize it, you agreed to be an empath for these exact same reasons!  When you were on the other side making your soul contract, being an empath seemed like such an easy job to volunteer for as you were surrounded in unconditional love.  Perhaps you forgot how difficult it would be and now that you’re here, you no longer want this responsibility?

This is when you really need to look at the greater good of the service that you’re providing versus how it sometimes makes you feel.  By absorbing these energies, you are playing a HUGE role in the spiritual evolution of mankind.  Because you are an empath, the world is a much better place for all of us to live!

Now that I know what’s going on, what do I do?

There are coping skills that are specifically designed for empaths, such as shielding your body and developing your throat chakra.

Coping Tips For Empaths

Being an empath can be physically and emotionally draining.  Many people are unaware that they’re an empath and do not know how to cope with this ability.

Develop Your Shield Body

Around your physical body, there is a layer of your aura that is devoted to your interface with your environment. Its shape and condition indicate your relationship to your world. People who are empaths often have a “thin skin” in relation to their shield body. When it has holes in it, we are more easily influenced by our environment. Visualize a shield of energy around your physical body. See it as being radiant and complete. You may see it as a particular color. Some people like to see it as white or gold. Decide what color would work well for you, and see it that way. Imagine the shield body as flowing and moving, not static.  We are developing a shield here, not armor. It is good for it to be flexible, so you can let in what serves you, and keep out what doesn’t. Snap your fingers to hold it in place. Do this exercise regularly.

Center of Being

Once you have the shield body in place, imagine that there is a spark in the center of your being that is your pure essence. Focus your attention on the spark, bring all your senses to bear. Also be aware of your sensations, emotions and thoughts. First try this when you are alone, and then, after a time, practice it around others. See if you can switch your awareness from your environment to your self, and back again. Notice the difference between the two.

Don’t Take On Responsibilities That Aren’t Yours

A person can get so used to care taking that they can feel as though they are supposed to do it. You are not. It is good to be as compassionate as possible without going beyond the limits of what you need to do to maintain your health and sanity. You are responsible up to that line, and not beyond it. If you are an empath, your idea of where the line is might be a bit fuzzy. Once you get to know where the line is, try to stick to it. It will make all your relationships clearer and cleaner.

Get Used To Being the Bad Guy

empathsEmpaths are often outwardly kind and caring. They usually get the benefit of everyone thinking that they are almost saintly sometimes. It is easy to get attached to being the “nice guy.” It is not easy dealing with people’s negative emotions, but care-taking others does not ultimately serve them or you. It does not help them to protect them from their feelings. It keeps them from growing up. Besides, it’s not real. It’s much better to live in reality than a padded reality. Yes, they may get angry or sad at you or with you if you don’t do what they want you to do, but it is important to remember that their feelings are not your feelings, and your well-being is not dependent on their well being.

Develop Your Throat Chakra

Sometimes an empath will know what they need to say or do to make good boundaries, but have a hard time following through in expressing it. The throat chakra is the center for the expression of personal truth. Through the opening of the throat chakra, we open ourselves to expressing our true needs and feelings, as well as expressing the creative force as it moves through us. Some good exercises for opening the throat chakra are singing and chanting, sharing your feelings and thoughts with friends, and meditating on the throat chakra. Some healing stones that help with the throat chakra are chrysacolla, turquoise, lapis lazuli, amazonite, and blue lace agate. You can meditate with them, put them in a medicine bag, or wear jewelry (particularly necklaces).

Develop Your Root Chakra

The root chakra helps us to deal with being fully in the world. When the root chakra is open, we are fully grounded and present with whatever is coming our way. When it is not open, we can be disassociative, fearful, and have difficulty staying present with what is going on. Opening and healing the root chakra helps us to release the fears that keep us from our highest manifestation within form. Some exercises that help to open the root chakra are:

Imagine you are sending roots down into the earth from your base. Imagine you can breathe in and out of your root center. On the inhale, breathe in energy from the earth. On the exhale, release any thing that is within you that does not serve you out of the root center and into the Earth.

Some healing stones that you might find helpful are:

  • obsidian
  • Kansas pop rocks
  • hematite
  • red jasper

Smudging And Clearing Regularly

Whether you are having difficulty with your empathic abilities or not, it is a good idea to smudge yourself regularly to release other people’s energy and influence from your energy body. Smudging is a way to clear your energy by waving incense around your body. Sage, copal, frankincense, and Palo Santo are all recommended. Other good clearing methods are: showering, bathing and spending time in solitude.

Take a Clary Sage bath

This is the single most effective thing you can do to clear all that emotional funk away. And I do mean bath – a shower doesn’t permeate in the same manner. You don’t need candles or anything else, just a nice hot bath and some privacy. Give it a good 15 minutes and you will feel much, much better. I recommend it before going to bed, as you can carry all that crap through your sleep and still wake up with it, otherwise. If you can’t find sage bubble bath, it’s ok, anything will work, I just really love the sage.

Breathe

Wherever you are, stop what you’re doing for 5 minutes and just breathe. You should be inhaling through the nose and from the diaphragm. Slowly. And then you should be exhaling slowly, through the lips – don’t just open your mouth and blow it all out. Pretend you’re blowing on a cup of hot coffee; that’s the kind of blowing you want. Slow and steady. Imagine that each time you inhale you are drawing all that crap up to the surface, and then expelling it when you exhale. If you practice, that will be precisely what you learn to do, eventually. Do not overdo it initially – deep breathing can release all kinds of emotional junk you weren’t previously cognizant of, and that will just make you feel worse. Really, really worse. So take it slow until you’re more skilled at it. A few deep breaths is enough when you’re just learning.
